Enrolling at NBS was an amazing decision for me! The course was very hands on and interactive which I really enjoyed. The instructor, Nate, is incredibly knowledgeable and had an answer for every possible question we could throw at him. I went into the course with zero bartending knowledge and I was able to find a bartending job at a Speakeasy within a month of completing the course. With the event staff positions offered after passing the course as well, I have been able to make back what I paid to join the school. It is definitely worth giving NBS a try!

I came into National Bartenders School already passionate about mixing drinks at home, but left with true professional skills that changed everything. Their hands on program was exactly what I needed to turn my hobby into a career. The instructors are all working bartenders and taught me the real techniques bars actually use. Not just recipes, but how to move behind the bar, interact with guests, and handle busy nights. I was amazed how much I didn't know, even after years of making drinks at parties. By graduation day, I had multiple job offers. Now I'm working at a craft cocktail bar downtown while still enjoying mixing for friends and except now my drinks look and taste like they're from a top lounge. For anyone serious about bartending, this is the fastest way to go from enthusiastic amateur to hired professional. The connections alone are worth it!

Solid courses for those looking to learn bartending basics. They teach fundamental cocktail mixing and bar skills. The instructors explain things clearly, with plenty of hands-on practice. They offer job placement assistance - in my case, they suggested several places where I could apply. If you need to learn bartending quickly, these courses are worth considering.

The school’s hiring partners recruit directly from their graduates, which made finding work effortless. I had multiple job options before finishing the program. Plus, their lifetime job assistance means I can always reach out for new opportunities. Best investment ever!
