A great place to have fun for anyone wanting to know more about the Hampton roads area. When you enter, take the giant moving walkway up to the 3rd floor and there are all sorts of interactive exhibits. A demonstration about pulleys, a sailing machine, a trivia game, and so much more! After you try all those, head to the Hampton Roads navel museum. There are so many things in there dipicting the navel history of the Hampton roads area. Then, head to the 2nd floor where you can go on the battleship USS Wisconsin! You can go on deck, up the superstructure, inside the ship, and up in the turret. I had a great time coming here. There's also a gift shop and cafe on the bottom floor of the Nauticus.
A great place for family outings. With a lawn sand by the water, benches to sit around. It is possible to see a transatlantic a few times and also a navy ship. There is still a museum on site.
The Nauticus was fun for all ages. Very interactive! The Wisconsin was also really interesting to tour. Staff at both were friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and into their jobs. The two experiences (museum and ship) for the price of one admission was a good deal. So glad we came!
My favorite place to visit. Never have I been disappointed in this place. They have alot of things to explore and have even added more. Love taking tours threw out the ship. Best time to go is during winter fest. Have fun.
This was a great adventure with the family. From the Nauticus interaction museum, the battle ship Wisconsin and the victory boat tour. Unfortunately we arrived on a Sunday and had to really run through everything to be able to experience it... but even then it was fun. USS Wisconsin was a blast to explore and see the history. The victory cruise was fun but the youngest, 7, lost interest pretty quickly. The interaction exhibits in Nauticus kept the kids and adults entertained the remainder of the time. Highly recommend and of these three experiences!
