I was really nervous about getting my engagement ring resized but Alec and the other jeweler were both super helpful. Measured my finger several times and got a second opinion just to be sure. Sizing was done in house and was ready in just a couple days. I'll be back with my fiance when it's time to get his band. I can't stop looking at my hand. You can't tell it was altered at all.

A fantastic family-owned jewelry store! I bought my wife's engagement ring and wedding ring from them sixteen years ago and they are always professional and friendly.! They take the time to listen to you and help you find the perfect item to fit your desires and your budget. They stand behind their products, they do custom work and repairs, and I have never been disappointed. I highly recommend them!

After engagement ring shopping and visiting many Jewelers, I chose Nazar’s. Working with Alec, Jesus, and Nareg was amazing. 1) Designed and crafted in-house. Their rings and settings on display are not just fake display rings, but most were designed and made in-house. Alec is their main designer and expertly worked with me, looked at my drawings and models to help custom make a ring for me. I wanted to design a ring that looked similar to a tulip setting but I didn't want it pointy or cluttered. I wanted the north, south, east, west petals to come up just below the girdle of the diamond while flaring out slightly to look like a flower from above. And then have one prong at each corner of the diamond that would act as the structure to hold the diamond and look like the anther or seeds of the flower. It needed to look elegant, yet approachable, dainty and timeless. Alec brought this vision and drawings to life. They have sophisticated 3-D printers that can make wax molds which gold can be poured into to make custom jewelry. 2) They are a family-owned business. 3) Unmatched Craftsmanship and the most competitive price. These photos do not do the ring justice. If you saw the ring in person you would see what I mean by unmatched. Every part of the ring, the hidden areas underneath, everything is flawless and a work of art. My degree is in Landscape Architecture, so I can be very exacting, and Nazar’s was so patient. We had multiple changes and iterations of wax molds until it was perfect to be cast in gold. I was never rushed or pushed aside. I felt like family. 4) Pick out your own diamond. I’m a skeptical person, I found a GIA certified, natural, untreated, fancy intense yellow diamond at Nazar’s in their display, and for the next 3 weeks I tried to find something better. I looked at 50+ different fancy and fancy intense yellow diamonds from Diamonds Direct, Zadok, Deutsch, and Dubin’s, all over. No one could show me a stone more beautiful than the ones at Nazar’s. Nazar’s price was even 10% less than Diamond’s Direct, had higher stats on the GIA. Many other Jewelers had to order in diamonds from 3rd parties and pay a middleman and charge more, Nazar’s has many GIA certified natural diamonds in stock that were expertly picked for their beauty (some people are not good at picking diamonds, Nazar’s is) and can therefore offer a more competitive price on a higher quality diamond. 5) They are in it for you. A month later I happened to find 1 natural diamond that I liked more than Nazar’s diamond (only 1!). I felt bad bc I wanted to give Nazar’s the business. They let me compare the diamond I found to their diamond and encouraged me to pick the one I liked more even though they wouldn’t make as much money. Nazar’s still valued my business and we designed a ring around the diamond I sourced. (Nazar's diamond was priced better per carat than the one I found, but the one I found had a yellow color unlike anything I have ever seen and in a rare modified brilliant hybrid elongated cushion cut that looked more like an oval than a cushion. The type of natural diamond that if you looked for 10 years you may never find one like it). 6) Lifelong customers, not a quick sale. Nazar’s was one of the only stores that I felt they were not about making a quick buck but about making a lifelong customer. Other stores I felt rushed, at Nazar’s I never felt pressured. Even after the sale, they complimentarily resized the ring a half size smaller for my fiancée and polished it up like a show piece. 7) Adaptable, above and beyond. I had a dilemma. I could tell my girlfriend really wanted me to propose to her at the Chicago Marathon. That week I approved the final design, and Nazar and their amazing craftsman worked overtime to finish the ring and have it overnight shipped from Houston to Chicago on a Friday night. It arrived Saturday morning in time to propose on Sunday and surprise her! Nareq is the shipping master. Alec and his team made it happen! Had an amazing experience with Nareg and the Nazar’s Co. team! The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the whole process. I went in looking for a nice Cuban chain and walked out with a great deal and a piece I love. Definitely check this place out, they have an incredible selection of jewelry, including earrings, necklaces, rings, and bracelets. They’ll even customize pieces to your liking. Highly recommend!
