⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nazo Japanese Cuisine Nazo just became my new favorite spot in the city. The food was absolutely superb from start to finish, and the environment was so beautiful and calming that it felt like a little escape in the middle of the day. Our waiter was immaculate — attentive, kind, and truly on point the entire time. Between him and the food, I’m already planning to come back at least once a week if I can pull it off. We wanted to try a little bit of everything, and I’m so glad we did. The corn ribs were incredible, the kind of appetizer you think about later. I ordered the tantanman ramen and it was unbelievably fresh. We also had sushi rolls, and every single thing we tried was a hit. No misses, no “it’s okay” dishes — just consistently delicious food across the board. I also have to mention this: I wasn’t able to tip our waiter the way I wanted to because we didn’t have enough cash on us, and it bothered me the whole ride home. I’m literally going back just to give him more because he truly deserved it. If you’re looking for amazing food, a beautiful atmosphere, and service that makes you feel taken care of, Nazo is it. We absolutely loved everything we got, and we’ll definitely be back.
NAZO's Wagyu beef ramen with rib is the best bowl of ramen my wife has ever eaten. That's coming from someone who has enjoyed ramen at many of the top ramen restaurants in the major cities around the country. The food here is excellent, and I appreciated the soup dumplings and baos on the menu which are lots of fun. But it's the elegance and attention to detail that made the experience superb. True to Japanese culture and design, every little detail is considered in NAZO. The architecture is cool: very Frank Lloyd Wright. It feels so cozy and so far separated from the stress of life/the street outside when you step inside. The textures, lighting, backlighting, clerestory windows: so classy. The tables are nicely spaced (unlike so many Japanese restaurants) so your neighbors elbow is not bumping yours, and the acoustics are good too making a very peaceful experience. Even for those who don't get booths the seats are so comfortable! The bathrooms are clean and fresh/elegant, and are placed away from all the diners for privacy. OKC, this is a hidden gem! Keep up the excellent work!
The decor inside reminds me of a boujee izakaya 🏮. I really love it ! The food was amazing as well as service. Our rolls were delicious & a decent size. The wagyu on hot stones was SOOO GOOD FOR THE PRICE. I wish there were cocktails, hopefully they have it by now ! Also the parking spot is little tight, finding parking could be a hassle.
The food was delicious, I especially loved the enoki chips even left over! I ate them all. My daughter is 3 and we shared the ramen enoki. She also enjoyed it. It didn’t take long to be seated but we did wait a good while for drinks. The gentleman who sat us came and got our drink order since our server was busy doing something else. I got my appetizer with the main meal instead of 1st. Sushi roll came out 1st. it was delicious but very large roll slices. the bottom came apart on half of it. Everything was delicious nonetheless. This is a newer business and worth a visit.
What a fantastic find following a day exploring Myriad Botanic Garden and the Oklahoma City National Museum and Memorial! We searched for a restaurant nearby, and are so pleased with our decision to dine here. We were greeted and seated immediately on a Sunday evening around 5 pm. The restaurant is elegant, yet very comfortable, the table settings very esthetically pleasing. The kitchen is very visible, with seating available at the sushi bar itself; we had a six-year old with us and were given a very comfortable booth. Shaeona was our server - extremely attentive, checking in with us throughout our dining experience, and a delight in the way she treated my little grandson! The menu is easy to understand with respect as to what various items have in their making. We ordered gyoza, a California roll, a Shaggy roll, a Dancing Eel roll, a Yellowtail roll, and for dessert - a piece of tempura cheesecake! We enjoyed grape and a melon Japanese sodas, and my grandson had a blueberry lemonade. The tableware is beautiful in its simplicity and earth-tone colors, every detail seems to have been thoughtfully chosen, right down to the wooden chopsticks. The fish in the sushi is FRESH! Shae explained it's flown in fresh straight from Japan twice a week, along with their Wagyu beef - you can tell it isn't thawed from frozen! The gyoza were perfectly cooked tasty packets of flavor, enhanced even more by a flavorful dipping sauce. The tempura cheesecake is a "must try" when you're dining here - one piece is big enough for two people to share...but you're probably going to want your OWN piece! Having been open almost three months, I have a good feeling that this place has it "dialed in" already - the entire meal and experience, from start to finish, was an absolute solid 10 for us - too bad Google will only allow me to give 5 stars.... Check this place out - you won't be disappointed - it's amazing!
