My 8 year old son has been taking guitar lessons with John for the past two years and we couldn’t ask for a better teacher. John is very knowledgable, friendly, patient, and is great at communicating with kids. The experience has been extremely rewarding for my son who is learning an activity that he’ll get to enjoy for the rest of his life while stimulating his mind, gaining confidence and having a lot of fun!

I can't say enough about my guitar lessons with John from Neighbour Note. I am an absolute beginner and have found John to be a very patient and knowledgeable instructor. He works with me at a pace that is comfortable for me and provides excellent resources that are so beneficial in practicing at home. I truly enjoy each class and look forward to many more. I would highly recommend taking music classes with John whether you are young or young at heart.

Neighbour Note is great! John teaches me and my two kids guitar and drums. He explains concepts and techniques very clearly and simply while making the lessons fun and encouraging. We've all improved so much since we started here and look forward to going every week! I highly recommend for both kids and adults.

Our daughter really enjoyed the guitar ensemble band camp! I could see she was energized and excited to go each day - she got to experience being in a rock band for the first time and the teacher let the students choose the songs they wanted to play. I am impressed with the amount of autonomy kids had and how they learned to collaborate with various skill levels in 5 days. All leading up to a great performance in a professional music recording studio. wow the two band camps that performed were awesome!
