The service here can be really bad. They can’t keep constant employees so there are different people who don’t know how to follow the recipes so you get a surprise every time you order. If you try to get it fixed you get a snarl. We love the food but this location leaves something to be desired. Atmosphere is falling apart a little but that’s not a huge deal.

Check your orders before you leave the store if you made an online order! They are only able to process refunds for online orders in store so you will have to go back to get your refund. My order was incorrect (had peanut butter all over it and no BP was on the order). Totally get mistakes happen, but would be nice to not have to drive 20 minutes to get a refund. 😢

A serene spot for a post-gym refuel! This place is incredibly calm and relaxing perfect for a quick bite after your workout. You order at the counter, and they'll call your name when it's ready for pickup. Everything on the menu is fantastic, but when in doubt, you can't go wrong building your own bowl!

My doctor recently told me that my cholesterol was high, so I’ve been making a real effort to choose healthier foods and drinks. I’ve always struggled with the texture of most vegetables (lifelong issue 😅), so I decided to explore smoothie and juice spots around town. Today’s stop was Nekter Juice Bar on Broadway—and what a treat! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with fun touches like an egg swing chair, comfy seating, and tables if you want to hang out. I ordered a regular-sized Orange Crush smoothie with a metabolism boost, and it was delightfully delicious and refreshing. I’ll definitely be back to try their juices and açaí bowls. Nekter just might become a new healthy go-to!

We found this gem just cruising around Alamo Heights. We juice at home so it’s such a treat to find a well run and beautiful shop we can pick and go. We enjoyed everything and will be going back!
