I found out about Nelson‘s after Hurricane Francis in 2004. The grocery stores were closed, but Nelson‘s was open and available with fresh fruits and vegetables since then our family has chopped almost every week at Nelson‘s. We love the selection, the prices, and the fresh fruits and vegetables.

Huge selection in the nursery. Gorgeous to walk through. They had a cool picture set up for the holiday that they do every year. The market section is wonderful, great prices! Everyone who worked there seemed genuinely happy to be there. Pictures show it best. I look forward to many returns here.

Nelson's farm.... OMG had i known i would have avoided Home Depo. Stopped in today searching for an Avacado tree, only to spend about 45 min talking with the lady out back about avocados, mangoes and even limes.... she was so sweet and knowledgeable took time to explain everything she knew to me! I will be back for sure, just need to figure out which KIND of avocado I want cause the options where overwhelming

Finally, seeded watermelon 🍉 😋 back to normal food. Did you know? A handful of dried watermelon seeds contains around 8 grams of protein, making it a great plant-based source. They’re high in: Magnesium – for heart, muscle, and nerve function Iron – supports red blood cells Zinc – boosts immunity Healthy fats – especially omega-6 fatty acids, The amino acids and magnesium contribute to stronger skin and hair. All in moderation of course. They have plenty of fresh items to explore will be back!

Stopped hoping for Haas avocado plant, they had plenty to choose from large , small and medium ... Many already had fruit growing and excitedly got the haas with most fruit on it... Jonny was walking around and asked assistance or if we had questions. This was loaded and out the door quick and such a good experience and overall impressed with all they had.likly to return in a few weeks to keep the growing hobby thriving and feeding us well.. I highly recommend this place -
