My daughter loves the camp at the visual arts centre. She is very picky choosing the camps and usually doesn’t like camps but she is very happy about the painting and sculpture camp here

First time going. It's a bit of a maze! Didn't help that I parked in the lot exactly opposite to where I needed to be. I'm taking an arts class here, and the staff are very friendly. Surprising amenities like a kitchenette are available to use.

Poor pottery classes with little direction. The instructors also cancel and reschedule classes based on their own availability and do not offer refunds for those days. They also mandate that clay and tools be purchased directly from them at an unreasonably high cost compared to other pottery studios. I do not recommend the pottery classes here.

I took a beginner wheel class elsewhere and am glad I did before signing up for a City of Ottawa beginner wheel class. The instruction was quite sporadic and either took too much of the class time, not allowing any time to practice, or too little, with little to no hands on help. I would have been completely lost had it not been for my previous instruction elsewhere.

I love that they offer parent and child pottery! So fun having an opportunity to create alongside our favourite people. The instructor was helpful and knew her stuff, giving tips and tricks as needed. Looking forward to returning to pick up our finished pieces.
