Always a great vibe, with something happening every time you visit. The owner genuinely goes above and beyond, and it shows in every detail. The beer selection is excellent, the food is consistently great, and there’s something for everyone. The retro arcade games are a highlight, and you can really see the care and thought that’s gone into creating the space. They’re always working on something new, which keeps the place feeling fresh and exciting.

Absolutely blown away by Netherworld! I visited yesterday for a Christmas party and it was hands-down one of the most fun, relaxed and inclusive venues I’ve been to in ages. From the moment we walked in, the arcade, board games, karaoke and just the overall vibes made it unforgettable. There’s such a cool mix of games, classic pinball and arcade machines, consoles and heaps of board games, so everyone in our group was having a blast. What really sets this place apart is the staff. They were genuinely knowledgeable about food allergies and intolerances and made navigating the menu stress-free. The fact that they even have gluten-free paper straws shows how much thought they put into letting people just enjoy themselves without the usual mental load. That might sound small, but it made a huge difference. You don’t just go to Netherworld, you get lost in it. Great drinks, playful atmosphere, and so much to do that people of all ages can have an amazing time. It’s rare to find a place that’s so fun and welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone who just wants to actually have fun. ❤️

Really cool spot, but it can get quite loud. The beer selections are wide and varied. The food was decent, but there was nothing to write home about. Service was excellent, the bartenders were on point all night.

This place is awesome! Great atmosphere, tons of games to choose from, and an excellent selection of beer. It’s the perfect spot to hang out with friends or unwind after a long day. My only wish is that they stayed open later! Defiantly coming back next time in Australia.

Great vegan-friendly pub with games and craft beer! Netherworld in Brisbane is an awesome spot for both vegans and meat-eaters (you can swap vegan patties for real meat). I had the vegan Burgatory burger—super tasty! The place has a fun retro vibe with lots of pinball and arcade machines in the back. Great for a chill night out. How it works: Self-service. Grab a menu from the bar, find a free table (first come, first served), and place your order at the bar. Drinks are listed on the greenboard, food and cocktails in the menu card. You’ll get a buzzer for food pickup (left side near the games). Free sauce options too! Mainly craft beers, but a couple of standard ones as well. Dress code: casual. Price: Around $76 for two burgers with sides and two pints. A visit is recommended!
