Great Crew to fish with. Captain Mike was attentive and got out of the wheelhouse to help when it seemed everyone was hooking up. Will and Megan were great and attentive to all the customers. They unhooked our fish and helped with our snags. Thank you. I will be back.
Mediocre experience at best. Didn't get to fish much and sat around for about 6-7 hours. fished for 2 hours at most. Day was fine till the end. Guess we didn't tip enough because the captain flipped out and got rude demanding we tip more even though we tipped electronically. The rest of the crew were nice though. Would have been an ok day if not for that. Would not recommend again.
Our group of three went on a crab/rockfish combo on the New Captain Pete out of Half Moon Bay and were treated to an amazing experience. The crew was experienced and the level of service was outstanding. Everyone in board was very grateful for an amazing trip. I would highly recommend going out with this crew and we are already planing another trip before the year is over. Thank you again for making the trip so enjoyable!!!
Had the best sport fishing experience yet on New Captain Pete yesterday fishing for rockfish. Despite medium large swell, Captain Michael piloted the vessel smooth as silk, and gave perfect instruction on technique. And co-captain/first mate Meghan was “Johnny on the spot” and a total rockstar. Everywhere she needed to be juggling a full boat of goofballs without hesitation. Despite the vessel name, it is quite obvious that the crew are long-time experts at their craft, and the positivity of our experience could not be overstated.
Had the most memorable and fun Father's Day of all time! This fishing excursion was just amazing for me and my two sons. Captain Melynda and her deckhand Megan were the best! We caught our striped bass limit and almost our halibut limit for the boat, we brought home 20+lbs of bass and halibut fillets! There was not a single fishbone in any of the fillets we had for Father's Day dinner, amazing job Megan!!! Thank you Megan for keeping our lines baited and in the water at all times.... you too Capitina Melynda! We will definitely be back to fish another day with you!
