Jacqueline was just the teacher I needed, allowing me to work at my own pace but encouraging me to have more confidence in my own abilities. It has been decades since I last studied Spanish but I was hoping to pick up a little of the language before my upcoming trip to Spain. I have made a lot more gains than I expected, thanks to the way Jacqueline has shaped my learning program, responding not just to my linguistic levels, but also recognising my personal learning style. It really has been an enjoyable and exciting learning experience for me.

Coming to the end of my 8 weeks with Jacqueline and wishing the course went on for ever! The lovely homey space Jacqueline provides makes you feel comfortable and puts you at ease to learn and speak up, opposed to a sterile classroom setting. Jacqueline's enthusiasm and approachable nature made it a lot less daunting to give it a good crack and make mistakes. Going to miss coming to this class! The cute little dachshunds running around was an added bonus.

I’ve just finished the 8 week beginner Spanish course with Jacqueline, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The lessons are fun and relaxed while super informative, and Jacqueline takes as much time as necessary to ensure we’re all following along. I would highly recommend this class to anybody wanting to get started learning Spanish :)

I've been studying Spanish for around a decade and used to basically be fluent, but I haven't been able to speak it regularly for a few years and had forgotten a lot, so I did 4 private classes with Jacqueline as a refresher. She is really good with personalising the lessons, is really generous with her time and has a seriously contagious enthusiasm for the language. Also, Jacqueline can explain the subjunctive in a way that makes sense! If you’re just starting out, I'm sure the group lessons would be great, but I'd recommend the private lessons for intermediate or advanced speakers. I did the 1hr lessons because I didn't think I'd be able to focus for any longer than that, but the time flew by. I cannot recommend these lessons enough, Jacqueline seriously helped me get back into Spanish!

I have just completed the 8 week Spanish for beginners course and am looking forward to continuing my classes with Jacqueline. The 8 week beginners course was very informative as Jacqueline stepped us through the fundamentals of consonant pronunciation and conjugations to create a framework for understanding the language. We were provided with lots of opportunities to discuss our interests, which was great. Jacqueline was an excellent and engaging teacher. I would highly recommend this class!
