Went for thermotherapy Dec 29, 2025. Unbelievably beautiful location, incredibly helpful and friendly staff, excellent amenities and service. It is a little ways away from Quebec City, but this served as a positive. With the crowds and bustle of the chateau hotel around Christmas, it was great to catch some solitude and quiet at Le Nordique. I look forward to another visit and possibly staying at their rooms.

My only (selfish) complaint was there are no English translations on the buildings and signs around the spa so we were confused often on how exactly to do the experience. We were able to talk to other spa-goers and figure it out. I also wish there was a lifesaver float near the river. I got in the river, in December, and had a hard time getting out on the icey ladder and panicked for a moment knowing there wasn’t a lifesaver nearby. Spa was clean! In a beautiful remote spot. It was ZEN! Will be back and have already recommended the spa to friends and family.

Our third time here as travelers from the southern US. Very well organized and maintained. All the basics- wet and dry sauna. Cold whirlpool and hot tub.. Hammocks. And a cold plunge in the river. All outdoors. Nice balcony for lunch or snacks with wine or coffee. Very quiet. Incredible setting. No cell service👏😇🙏. The womam at the front desk was so so charming. But that is the rule in rural Quebec. We will try the overnite chalets next time for sure!

In short, this spa is on my must-do list every time I go to Quebec City. I've been here many times and will keep coming back in the future. The staff are very professional and dedicated to your relaxation, the facilities are all very clean and are thoughtfully integrated with the location in which the spa is located, and the location itself is simply serene. All of these factors combine to make you feel like you are at an indulgent, relaxing camp in the middle of the woods. There were just a couple of items worth mentioning for improvement: the quality of the audio systems could be improved; the music from them seemed a bit fuzzy. Also, the electric fireplace heater in the room above the first steam room was making a loud, bothersome buzzing noise when plugged in. The massage as well was wonderful. Other than that, though, my experience here has reliably been very enjoyable and relaxing.

Beautiful Nordic spa right on the Jacques-Cartier river! We went in the summer at 4pm on a Friday and it was very quiet which was so nice. There are plenty of places to explore - hot tubs, wet and dry saunas, a cold plunge, a dip in the river, and many places to lounge such as hammocks or in chairs overlooking the river. They provide you with 2 towels, a locker with key, and you can rent bathrobes for $10. The change rooms are nice and have showers and hair dryers. Everything was extremely clean and I appreciated the beautiful gardens. If I had to suggest an improvement, I would say try having a nicer body wash in the showers, such as an aromatherapy one, or similar body lotion in the change rooms. I can't wait to come back!
