We had such a great experience with North Boston Dog Training! After researching many board and train programs, this one really stood out to us and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Our two Labradoodles, ages six years and five months, needed help with reliable commands, walking manners, recall, reactivity, barking, and jumping. Our older dog was also on a strict low exercise and no jumping routine due to a partial CCL tear, so we needed both dogs to listen well, especially with surgery in her future. Rhonda was amazing with both of them and took such great care of our older dog, even administering her medication as instructed by our vet. She kept us updated with pictures and progress reports throughout training, which gave us so much peace of mind. At pickup, Rhonda walked us through everything the dogs had learned and showed us exactly how to continue their training at home. Since coming back, both dogs have been reliable and correct themselves quickly when asked. Our walks are so much more enjoyable, and our puppy has such a strong foundation. Everyone who meets him can’t believe how well trained he is. Both dogs are calm, responsive, and still their fun loving selves. We are so thankful for Rhonda and highly recommend North Boston Dog Training to anyone looking for real results and genuine care for their dogs.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Rhonda! She did an amazing job training our 4-month-old puppy. In just a short time, he learned all the basic commands like sit and down, has excellent recall, and can even be off leash—he follows us around and doesn't run off. Rhonda kept us updated with pictures and detailed progress summaries, which gave us so much confidence throughout the process. Our pup also had the best time playing with her sweet corgi, which made the experience even more fun for him. Worth every penny—we highly recommend Rhonda to anyone looking for a skilled, caring, and effective trainer!

At first I found it challenging to pick the right dog trainer for our 10 month old golden retriever but after my wife spoke with Mike on the phone, we felt confident this was the place for our dogs board and train. Our Dog worked with Rhonda Greenwood and we were really happy with her professionalism in not only coordinating drop off and pickup but also happy with the results. After coming back from training our dog was more confident and had a better structure. Rhonda gave us a great foundation to continue to grow our dogs off leash obedience and walking skills. We spoke with several other options in the area and felt the pricing was right in alignment with others for 2 weeks. We felt we got great value for the price.

We sent our very high energy, crazy puppy Max to Rhonda with North Boston Dog training. Before we sent Max, it was impossible to take him for a walk. He would pull and jump, bark, and take off if he saw another person or dog. We even had a shock collar on him to help with training, but, to no matter what we did he would not listen, the excitement always took over. We just got Max back last night and this morning I took Max on a 2 mile loop around our neighborhood. We passed multiple dogs, people working outside, cars driving by, chickens, goats and ducks...he was wonderful! Of course we did correcting but he just corrected so quickly and listened so well. It was a night and day experience from my last attempt at walking him. I am so proud of him for how far he's come and look forward to this new life we get to have with him. I am so thankful for Rhonda and all of the hard work she put in to train Max. She spent an hour with me last night training me on how to move forward with Max. He is even listening so well with my crazy 1 year old toddler running around our house. I am so impressed and so thankful for Rhonda and all she did!! I highly recommend North Boston dog training if you are feeling hopeless in your own training journey with your pup or dog!

My 3 year old lab mix rescue went through the 2 week off leash training course with Rhonda who was amazing. He has really come a long way since adopting Ben. He is super attentive now, listens to commands, much calmer and independent and definitely trusts us more. I truly believe Rhonda shaped him into the best dog that he can be. He knows when he’s doing wrong/ corrects himself right away. It truly is worth going through this training if you have a dog who is misbehaved. Thank you so much!!
