North China is our favorite Chinese food restaurant - the best in Houston in our opinion. My wife and I enjoy the Pong Lai Pork, and Crab Puffs the most, but all of the other dishes we’ve tried are great as well. The environment and staff are always very attentive and welcoming, which adds to the experience. Highly recommend North China to anyone who has not tried it!

North China Restaurant is one of those places that reminds you why classic neighborhood Chinese restaurants never go out of style. The General Tso's chicken and orange chicken were exactly what you hope for: crispy, flavorful, and dangerously easy to keep eating long after you told yourself you were full. What really surprised me was the Korean menu, which adds a nice twist and gives you more reasons to come back and try something different. The service really stands out too. The staff are incredibly hospitable and attentive without hovering, and they make you feel like a regular even if it is your first visit. It is the kind of place where the food is comforting, the people are genuinely kind, and you leave feeling like you found a hidden gem worth returning to.
