NHRPD is amazing these pictures are from their park spotlight at Chardonnay park which my kids have nicknamed zip line park and this event was a sip and paint kid’s addition that was November 22,2025. they have upgraded a lot of the parks in their district. I feel like they honestly have some of the best playground structures in the Sacramento area and I love that every park is a different design and that a lot of the parks have a great amount of grass space that allow for sports activity’s. my kids have a couple favorite parks. we go to almost all the events that they put on for the community such as the Easter egg hunt event, the Halloween event, the Christmas tree lighting, valentines dance party , breakfast with Santa, chalk in the park, touch a truck is a awesome event, the summer extravaganza splash party, just to name some of the things, but it’s definitely a lot of other things that they do. They really make the community feel welcomed. North highlands is lucky to have a team of well rounded and uplifting individuals that make the kids breakout of their shells and feel comfortable and safe, you can tell that they really love what they do and they care about the children in the community that they serve. Crystal Harding is one of the best board members that any park district would be lucky to have but I’m glade that she chose to be a representative for north highlands!!!
