I had a disappointing experience due to poor communication and a lack of professionalism. I wouldn’t recommend this art center.
I was really looking forward to trying this art center, but my experience was extremely disappointing. The communication was poor, the staff felt unorganized, and the overall environment didn’t feel welcoming or supportive. I expected professionalism and consistency, but that wasn’t my experience at all. I left feeling frustrated instead of inspired. I hope they take feedback seriously, because there’s a lot of potential—but right now, I can’t recommend this place.
I attended an art course a few months ago here. The center is small and needs renovations. The instructor wasn’t the most friendly, and I found the class to be cliquish. Such a bummer, I had driven over an hour to attend the class and ended up not coming back for the remaining parts of the programming. Very pricey as well.
Just finished an art class and will never sign up again. Bad experience, just awful really. Not enough space or parking. Students were arriving 30 min early, when the place opened to get a table and parking spot. Even worse, during class events, drop offs were scheduled in the same space, making even less space. Usually, I had to put my coat/supplies on the floor. Chairs and tables that were there, are junky folding ones. The temperature is set to 66 degrees and heat turns off over an hour before class ends. Many people had to wear their winter coats during painting class. Some regular students are unpleasant and very clicky..high school lunch room clicky. There are many great places around, this is NOT one of them. I don't recommend.
I've now taken two classes here and I am already looking forward to the next! Katie is a fantastic person and pottery instructor. I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to learn from her, and highly recommend her and this studio. Whether you are a beginner or very experienced, you will enjoy this studio.
