Highly disappointed, that Dr.Duffin didn't show any care or empathy for my son, she also couldn’t give me any answers due to my newborn son's breathing condition. I felt very uncomfortable, and unsatisfied. Definitely will find a different location.

I am deeply disappointed and concerned by the lack of care my son received from the NP Amanda Lina Andrade. As a mother, I took my toddler to her with symptoms that included diarrhea, stomach pain, headache, and fever lasting more than a week. Despite my concerns, she dismissed the idea of a stool test, attributing his symptoms to the possible side effects of antibiotics, and advised me to wait another week to see if he improved on his own. She even recommended giving my toddler Tylenol for stomach pain, which felt like an inadequate response. Frustrated with my son's worsening condition, I sought a second opinion from a new doctor after moving to a different city. To my shock, the new doctor ordered a stool test, which confirmed that my son had E. coli and required antibiotics for treatment. The delay in diagnosing and treating my son's infection not only caused unnecessary suffering for my child but also put other children at risk of exposure to this contagious bacteria. I am appalled by the lack of urgency or proper medical assessment in this situation. NP Amanda Lina Andrade's failure to listen to a concerned mother, her refusal to order a stool test, and her suggestion to simply wait another week were completely irresponsible. As a result, my son endured even more days of discomfort, and I am left questioning the quality of care he received. I hope that I do not have to pay for this appointment, as she did nothing to address my son's health issues and only exacerbated his condition. I would strongly advise others to seek care elsewhere.

My girls have been going to the office for over 11 years and all before I absolutely love the office STILL over love Dr. Bartel HOWEVER good help is so hard to find the incompetence and the lack of empathy and communication is ridiculous definitely needs a NEW front end staff I pray I find another doctor soon, sad I have to leave our comfort zone due to simple people clocking in ONLY for a check! Disappointed is an understatement.

We've been seeing Dr. Bartell for about 8 years, and have been so pleased with the entire experience. They've always been able to get our kids in when needed, they're incredibly responsive via MyChart and telephone, and everyone in the office has been so respectful in each and every interaction. We'll never leave! Update: We recently saw Emma, the nurse practitioner who I believe is new to the practice. We saw her during the COVID pandemic, and the office had very good practices. My daughter (3) even asked to go back to see Miss Emma again (because she didn't need any shots!). Emma was lovely and very thorough.
