We played the Casino Royale heist. We are experienced escape room players (over 20). The puzzles were different and flowed well. The live actor was a positive. Probably a medium hard escape room. We had fun.

THE BEST!!! We loved the 20,000 Leagues room so we were thrilled when Novel Escape added the Casino Royale room with the live actor. Our whole family loves escape rooms and the creativity and originality of the puzzles in the Novel Escape rooms make these some of our favorites. Steven was our Blackjack Dealer today and he was so great! We appreciated that he followed our lead on whether we got hints. This was our first time to try an escape room with a live actor and Steven was perfect - he played his part enthusiastically, but he blended into the background when he wasn't needed. We were really in the groove with these puzzles and there was something for everyone to solve. It was super exciting for us to race through these puzzles and we were able to finish quickly. We are already anxiously awaiting the next Novel Escapes room that is in development. Austin is really lucky to have such a smart, creative, FUN, local escape room option!

Came with some friends for my partner's birthday. We had 5 people in total which I think was a good number; one of us was added last minute and they were able to get him added pretty easily. I like that you are in a group with just your party rather than being forced in with other randos. We did the Casino Royale room - it was a lot of fun! This was my first in-person escape room experience, same for most everyone in my group. I felt the room was really well designed with captivating puzzles, everything felt doable without red herrings (or at least not frustrating ones because an obvious one definitely made me laugh). I enjoyed this a lot and I look forward to coming again!

Me and my partner went to do the Casino Royale experience awhile back, and it was a 10/10! The theme, immersion and the props were excellent. The creative way they included casino games like craps, blackjack and even a real slot machine to solve their puzzles was engaging and innovative. The icing on the cake was our game master, Steven. He played such a great role and their method of implementing hints is incredible. I’ve never done a room that handled it that way and we loved it. We are looking forward to whenever Sherlock Holmes comes out soon!

My husband, adult son, and I had a great time in the Casino Royale escape room! It was well-designed and challenging, but because they have someone to help you as needed, it keeps it fun! You are also just with members of your group and not mixed in with other groups, which is a plus. I don't want to give too much away, but they add a lot of neat details which add to the experience. I highly recommend Novel Escape! We are looking forward to returning to try their other rooms.
