Needed an embroidered patch sewn onto a canvas Item. Lady explained how it couldn't be accomplished because the canvas item was sewn in such a manner as to create a "loop". The stitching that created the loop could have easily been removed with a seam ripper, patch sewn on and loop re-sewn. My opinion is that my need wasn't significant enough and she assumed I had zero experience in the "seamstress" field. Sewed a lot of insignia and unit patches during my 23 years in the military. Was hoping to get this done via sewing machine and not have to hand stitch it. I'll look for a business that caters to a customer with a "think outside the box" attitude. Be skeptical of any business where you have to knock on the door of a private residence, remain on the front step without being invited in and this is after having to park a block away because the neighbors don't want customers parked in front of their homes. Sad.

She was nice enough, but I needed my scrub bottoms to be tighter fitting around the waist so they don't slide down with things in my pockets, and she added an elastic band, but they still slide down. She didn't have me try them on or anything before she gave them back. I just wish my problem has been fixed.

Fantastic work! Nu is friendly and professional with great pricing. I had some AG khaki pants I purchased from Nordstrom shortened 2 inches. Stitching is just like I bought them. Highly recommend!

I waited last minute to get my bridesmaid dress altered for a wedding and Nu was very accommodating with my schedule. She took my measurements super quickly and efficiently and had my dress ready in less than 2 days! Her prices are honestly too low for her quality of work! She took my dress in an inch on both sides and returned it looking like it had never been altered. It fit perfectly. She's amazing and you won't find better work for your $ than with her!
