I had a frustrating experience trying to get an electrical inspection/report for Hamilton’s rental licensing requirements. I was quoted $1000+HST. I also obtained multiple quotes from other licensed electricians for the same type of “general inspection + report/letter,” and they were in the ~$200–$400 range (one was $375 for the entire house) without the same add-ons being presented as mandatory. If you’re getting an inspection for rental licensing, I strongly recommend getting multiple quotes and confirming in writing exactly what’s included (scope, report/letter, re-inspection policy, and whether permits are actually needed). I chose to go with another provider who is honest with their work (like every other ESA in the area).

100/10! We decided to use Nu-gen at the recommendation of our realtor after purchasing our new home. Daniel and his team helped us with a bunch of electrical upgrades in our house and they did an incredible job. Quotes were transparent and we knew exactly what to expect. Daniel and his team did a great job helping navigate a hot tub installation, meeting all permit requirements as well as upgrading to 200 Amp service within timeliness and budget. Everyone was very professional, helpful and friendly. Highly recommend for your electrical needs!!
