This class is the best! I just hit the one year mark attending classes taught by Anna. Participating in boot camp has delivered the results I expected (greater strength all around, fewer injuries, better muscle mass and tone) and some that I never imagined (solid new community of people, the magic of watching the city and its people come to life at sunrise, a weekend running crew…I could keep going). Best of all, I leave class feeling happy, energized and confident, which is an amazing way to start the day. If you like exercising outside and like workouts that are different every day, give Oakland Adventure Boot Camp a try!
I loathe working out, BUT adore this bootcamp. I’ve never managed to commit to any exercise for more than a few days or weeks tops, but have been going to Oakland Adventure Bootcamp for 2.5 years. The age range is 20-80+ and some people are accomplished athletes and others (like me) are not. Anna makes everyone feel welcome. I strongly recommend signing up and trying this class.
I love Oakland Women’s Adventure Boot Camp. Women’s fitness at its best: outdoors, cool folx, getting fit. (And I hate gyms BTW.) Mornings at Lake Merritt by the arches/pergola.
