From the time we walked in the door to being seated, the staff was very courteous. The wait staff were very knowledgeable about the menu, the specialty cocktails, and wine. They were very attentive and treated us like we were the only people in the restaurant. The service was excellent, the food superb, and a great atmosphere. This is one of the best restaurants I've been to. 5 stars all around!!

Ocean Prime is hands down my favorite restaurant in Tampa and my go-to spot for special occasions. Everything about this place feels elevated—from the beautiful ambiance to the outstanding service. The staff is always attentive, professional, and makes you feel truly taken care of without being overbearing. The food is consistently excellent. Every dish is well-executed, flavorful, and beautifully presented, making the whole experience feel special every time I go. Whether it’s a celebration or just a night you want to feel a little extra, Ocean Prime never disappoints. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience in Tampa.

Nickel and dime time. This was my first time back in a little while. The changes were not positive. First, the parking lot wad closed off for valet parking (which is $5). Needless to say it was almost empty but the adjoining Crate and Barrel was full.... We arrived about 15 min before our reservation and there were at least three hosteses yet it took quite a while to get seated (not very busy at 4:30). The previous complementary bread is now $8 (I don't know if they offer seconds). I didn't see much bread coming out of the kitchen) We both had seafood, I had the seared ahi which was perfect and the wife had the teriyaki salmon which was also perfect. We also had the steakhouse corn which is spectacular. Service was fine but the water refills were often forgotten (I didn't order anything else to drink) I've had problems in the past - forgotten sides, cold food items and once a crappy steak that should never have been served to a customer (all gristle) but on average the place was acceptable. With the current changes and price honestly I prefer Bern's.

What a great evening! It makes me regret that we haven't visited in 20 years. Kyle was a great server, fun and attentive. Pre-dinner drinks were almost magical with my Prime Manhattan being the best I've had. The food was wonderful, photos and videos attached, with both steak and fish being perfect, a rarity. Presentation was also better than usual and very well done. Someone picked out their least expensive bottle of Spanish red for us which turned out to be very good. Service was attentive from Kyle and Jesus without being a bother. Overall, except for the astronomical pricing, I can't wait to return. The bill, with tip, for four of us was $800.

I’ve been to Ocean Prime in Tampa many times, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for both a casual dinner or a special night out. The food is consistently excellent, every steak is cooked to perfection, and the menu always has a great variety of options to choose from. The drinks are just as impressive, with plenty of creative cocktails and a well-rounded selection. What keeps me coming back, aside from the quality of the food, is the service. The staff is always attentive, professional, and friendly, which makes every visit an enjoyable experience. This place has become one of my go-to spots in Tampa, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for top-notch food, drinks, and atmosphere.
