We had a wonderful experience with Off Leash K9 Training. Chip was our trainer and you can tell that he really loves and cares about what he does. Chip provided updates while our 6 month old Labrador, Teddy, was away at training-- sending videos, pictures and even FaceTiming us while he was working with our pup. We could tell immediately that Teddy was coming back to us a much better listener and we are continuing to work with him now that he's home with us. I've already recommended them to a couple of friends with new dogs. They do a great job!
I can’t say enough good things about this two-week board-and-train program with Chip. From start to finish, the experience was amazing. I received photos and updates almost every day, which made me feel completely confident and reassured that my dog was in great hands. Chip worked extensively on leash manners, obedience, and reactivity, and the difference is honestly incredible. Walks are calmer, my dog is more focused and responsive, and overall behavior has improved so much. The biggest sign? My dog has been asleep since he got home — clearly exhausted in the best way from all the mental work and structure. For anyone hesitant because of age or breed: my dog is a seven-year-old Cocker Spaniel, and this experience proved it is never too late for any dog or any breed to learn and improve. Another huge bonus is the lifetime availability to a trainer if you ever have questions after purchasing the package. That ongoing support makes such a difference and shows how committed Chip is to long-term success. Chip is knowledgeable, patient, and truly understands dogs and behavior. This was absolutely worth it and the best decision I’ve made for my dog. I highly recommend him to anyone considering a board-and-train program!
Our 8-month old GSD had FANTASTIC RESULTS after her two week program with Chip! 😁 We’re not sure who loved each other more — Ursa or Chip?!?!?! Ursa went in as a completely out of control wild child — she is the most lovable yet stubborn and strongest 💪 GSD that we’ve had! She has been home with us for six days now and a completely changed dog — she’s a pleasure to have around now. Chip taught us how to be consistent with her — both in her training and with reinforcement. Part of the training was teaching US! We love what Ursa has become in such a short time and at such a young age. ❤️❤️❤️ We highly recommend Chip and the program!
I 100% recommend Chip and Off Leash K9 Training. We got our Boston Terrier, Clover, at 8 weeks old, and we wanted nothing more than to set her and us up for success. We did all the research and ended up landing on Off Leash K9 Training Lexington because of all the wonderful reviews. At 4 months old, we signed Clover up for the 1 Week Puppy Board and Train. Chip from the get-go was so communicative and wonderful to work with. You can tell Chip genuinely cares for the dogs he works with and is passionate about what he does. He helped guide us through the very early puppy stage and gave us the basics for what was appropriate for her age. At 8 months old, we enrolled Clover in the 2 Week Board and Train to further her training. She now knows sit, down, heel, off, place, let’s go, and door manners. Clover is still a puppy and still has growing and learning to do, but thanks to Chip, she now has a very solid foundation and we have the tools to continue to build on that foundation Left photo is from Clover’s 1 Week Puppy Board and Train, and right photo is just after completing her 2 Week Board and Train
Pat is absolutely amazing! Izzy did the two-week board and train with him, and the difference we’ve seen is night and day. We were a little nervous at first about sending her, but Pat put us at ease right from the beginning—and now she absolutely loves him! He kept us updated the whole time with phone calls, texts, and videos, which really helped us feel connected and reassured. Not only did he work wonders with our pup, but he also gave us the tools and confidence we needed as owners. What really means so much is that he hasn’t stopped helping us now that the program is over—he’s still there for us whenever we have questions or need guidance. You can tell he truly loves what he does and cares about the dogs and families he works with. We’re so grateful we found him and highly recommend Pat to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, patient, and supportive trainer!
