We cannot say enough great things about Off-Leash K-9 Winston-Salem—especially Rick. We did the 2-week board and train for our 7-month-old German Shepherd puppy who was pulling hard on the leash, running rampant, and struggling with socialization. The transformation has been incredible. Rick’s thoroughness and attention to detail truly set him apart. Not only did he work wonders with our dog, but he made sure we fully understood the training process and how to maintain consistency at home for long-term success. Our puppy now walks calmly on leash, is much more controlled, and has made huge strides socially—all thanks to Rick’s expertise and dedication. Rick has become our go-to guy for any questions or issues, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about both the dogs and the owners. If you’re on the fence about training or looking for real, lasting results, Off-Leash K-9 Winston-Salem—and Rick specifically—is 100% worth it. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend using Off Leash K9 Training! I had adopted a stray pit bull. He had a great temperament but I wanted the best experience for him and for me. I used the individual lessons so I would learn as much as Iggy did. Dave Dobbins helped take Iggy from a wild young dog into a trained, calm, obedient and confident dog. I cannot express the positive difference I see in my dog. This was so worth the work and money we put into it. Dave was so knowledgeable and caring, and always had recommendations to build Iggys confidence and improve his behaviors. It has been such a positive experience! I would definitely recommend, and definitely would do it again for another dog! Dave took my wild child to off leash heel in 8 lessons!! An absolute miracle!!

We brought in our 18 month old golden doodle for the two week board and train with Rick! We were nervous at first but the transformation is amazing!! Our pup went from jumping, play biting, using selective hearing, and not having great door manners to listening and wanting to please at every step. She has learned on/off leash heel, come, place, break, door manners, patience and most importantly didn’t loose her playful personality. It’s makes her life and ours more enjoyable. The updates, pictures and follow up was an added bonus while she was away from us. The progress that she made in these two weeks just can’t be explained!! Rick is the BEST!! His whole family loved our Maylee and we will forever be grateful for her Off Leash K9 time.

We are so happy with the training our Duke received with Off Leash K9 of Winston Salem, in Kernersville! Dave was his trainer and we opted for the one week board and train! We were updated daily from Dave with Dukes progress. These updates were very important to us as it can be difficult to leave your fur family with other people. We highly recommend them for all of your training needs! They are experts in their field and know what they are doing. Not only did Duke learn, they ensured that we understood how to utilize the commands and the reasons for them. They (from booking agent to the owners) are professional and personable and made our experience seamless! If you are unsure of anything, all you need to do is ask. You cannot go wrong with them! We are so pleased with Off Leash K9 Training and Rick as our trainer. Winston was our second boxer who trained with Rick and we have been so pleased! Winston was 7 months old and was all puppy! Rick stayed in contact everyday and sent pics and videos. With each day we saw progress and by the time 2 weeks was up I was so impressed with Winston’s turn around. I never worried about his care and I knew he was well loved for the 2 weeks. I highly recommend Rick and Off Leash K9 training.
