A lovely gem of a destination in Madison. The conservatory (small fee) is a tropical haven to restore your soul during the Wisconsin winter. The outside gardens are free & a joy during any season! But show your love & leave a donation to keep this place alive - literally. 😉 Also frequent special events like art installations & light shows...

We stopped here over the winter, so only had access to the Conservatory. Everyone was great. Beautiful indoor facility, just a small indoor space. I'm sure the primary areas outside are wonderful in warmer weather. Took 20 minutes to walk the full indoors. Again, Beautiful and well cared for.

Beautiful place. I came here with my son's during the winter and it was nice to see some beautiful greenery. There was a small train exhibit which was neat to see. Overall when I visit Madison I always like to come here.

First place I visited in Wisconsin and it was a wonderful choice! I only visited indoors, but that took at least an hour, and it could have been longer If I had more time before close. The parking is a free lot, which is awesome. There is wheel chair accessible parking and it is pretty easy to pull up to the door area. Everyone was really friendly and the scavenger hunt was super engaging and kind of harder than I thought it would be. You can purchase your tickets at the front and they do stamp your hand with a cute little stamp (they asked before hand if that was okay, which was very considerate). They take card as well as cash and they are very friendly and efficient. The gift shop is full of handcrafted and locally sourced items that aren't too expensive.

The whole family LOVED this place! It's beautiful free gardens are amazing, with extra events all the time! Especially for members, which if you live close enough & like flowers, easy walking with places to sit all over (for those like me that need the rest every so often) & cool events, then the membership is definitely worth it! Different beautiful colors, blooms are always around a corner. We especially loved the pitcher plants, such rare plants that need care are amazing!!!
