Not only are we guaranteed great food and service but also the comfort knowing that Open Kitchen are aligned with our values in its massively high standards. Open Kitchen shares our environmental and ethical values, meaning it supports local, independent and sustainably produced companies. The range of catering options is the most extensive I've ever known and it's a pleasure to be able to use Open Kitchen for our catering knowing everyone will be happy.

Great event caterer. I travelled from London to host a “lunch and learn” for a client of mine. I needed someone at short notice to supply an office lunch for 25 guests, and Open Kitchen Mcr pulled out all the stops. The food was great, fresh, and ethically sourced ingredients. Plus, they are a CIC supporting people in their local community. So your money supports some great work. Will definitely use them again!

Booked afternoon tea yesterday and the food was absolutely delicious. Chose the ‘alternative afternoon tea’ which comprised of scotch egg, sausage roll, pulled pork sandwich, chips and delicious cakes. Really attentive and friendly staff and the price was so good value for money. Will aim to go back for Sunday roasts which also looked delicious! Thanks again

Using only foodstuff that is destined for the bins because of non-delivery, ie. free food from on-line delivery companies, Real Junk Food (RJF) creates an ever-changing daily menu. We had a vegetarian meal that was very interesting, tasty and surprisingly filling. They even devised a lactose-free version for me. The local brews were great too. Fruity and light, the way I like beer. When debating how much to pay for this meal of vegetables, which is normally cheaper than meat, we decided to give the upper tier. When we spoke with the extremely warm and friendly wait staff, Mike, we found a good reason for it - RJF feeds the street people FOC. With a policy of pay what you think it's worth, some just take advantage of it. If we give more, it's 'paying it forward' in a way, for them. The majority of wait staff comprises volunteers too. An altogether altruistic venture. RJF is moving to bigger premises in a week's time. Great to participate in their success story.
