I have a mixed review of this restaurant. On one hand, the food is excellent for Greensboro standards. It's always fresh, well made, with flavors you want and expect when going for an Italian meal. Is it the best Italian in the country? No. Is it the best Italian in GSO? Absolutely, yes. The chef is not only good, they're remarkably consistent. The dining room is a bit crowded, tables very close together, making it less comfortable if you prefer more privacy, but for a quick meal of quality food, it suffices. On another hand, every time we dine here, we encounter an older male server who is pretty obnoxious at sizing up your net worth as soon as you enter to help him figure out what level of service you should get. Over our six visits, we are beginning to marvel at the acuity of his radar and the fact he never lets it down. If he thinks your bank account is noteworthy, he'll be all smiles and prompt service. He'll pretty much be parked at your table all night, schmoozing up, fake laughter and all. If he perceives you as middle class or below, good luck getting your water refill. Good luck getting any attention. Good luck getting anything but dismissive glances and on occasion a snarky remark. Your table pretty much stop existing for him if a high roller happens to be in the dining room. This server alone is the reason we've decided to stop eating here. We find this blatant favoritism off putting. We are the kind of people who value substance over appearances, and I'm not going to pull out my Birkin just to get a decent service at dinner.

The flavors are incredible. In my opinion not the typical Italian flavors but they are their own. The Gnocchi is perfect. And the bread is fresh. Worth the visit.
