We had a really positive experience working with Rakesh at OTS Solicitors. He supported us through a time-sensitive and quite complex sponsorship and visa process, and was consistently clear, calm, and pragmatic throughout. Rakesh provided structured, step-by-step guidance, particularly around CoS allocation, SMS processes, and biometric requirements, which made a stressful situation feel much more manageable. His responsiveness and attention to detail gave us confidence that everything was being handled properly. We also appreciated his ability to balance technical expertise with a practical, business-focused approach. Would highly recommend Rakesh and the team at OTS Solicitors to any organisation navigating sponsor licence or Skilled Worker visa matters.

OTS was exceptionally professional in handling my matter. They were accurate, swift in replies and human in their approach. They not only provided accurate legal advice, but also insight about best practices, which you need to feel comfortable about your own case. Reshmi Chowdhury was responsible for my case and really made the difference by bringing the best of the firm professionalism and culture together. Highly recommended.

I can’t recommend my solicitor highly enough. From start to finish, they provided outstanding support during my Home Office compliance visit, guiding me through what could have been a very stressful process with professionalism and reassurance. Their knowledge and attention to detail were exceptional. They took the time to explain every step clearly, ensured I was fully prepared, and were always available to answer my questions promptly. Thanks to their expertise, everything went smoothly and I felt confident throughout. What really stood out was their calm and supportive approach—they genuinely cared about achieving the best outcome for me. I’m incredibly grateful for their help and would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone needing immigration or compliance support. A truly 5-star service.

We paid £252 for an initial consultation with one of their solicitors regarding a landlord-tenant dispute. The consultation itself was average, but what happened afterwards was deeply disappointing. After the meeting, the solicitor was supposed to follow up with next steps and guidance. Instead, they went completely silent. I sent multiple follow-up emails — to the solicitor directly, to the secretary, and to the firm's general email address. None were answered. For a firm that says on their website that 'your case matters' and promises clear communication, the reality was the opposite. We were left without any follow-up, any advice on next steps, or any acknowledgement of our emails after paying for the service. We were dealing with a serious and time-sensitive housing matter, and the lack of response forced us to start from scratch with another firm, losing valuable time in the process. I would not recommend OTS for housing or landlord-tenant matters. The initial consultation felt like a box-ticking exercise to collect the fee, with no genuine commitment to the client afterwards. We are requesting a full refund of the £252 consultation fee. A consultation without any follow-up or response to client communications is not the complete service we paid for.

Thank you Rakesh Patel for your hard work and dedication to get my daughter the UK ILR despite the days out of UK including covid-19 which was exceeding the threshold ...

I engaged OTS Solicitors 1st March 2025 for a housing matter and paid £268 for an initial consultation, followed by £900 for what was described as a straightforward letter with a 14-day turnaround. What followed was a prolonged and frustrating experience marked by poor quality work, inconsistent case handling, bad communication and a lack of basic attention to detail. My case was passed between multiple individuals over several months, including after the original solicitor left the firm, with no clear ownership at any stage. Communication was consistently poor, and I was repeatedly required to chase for updates, often receiving no response for extended periods. The initial draft provided was of a very poor standard, containing factual inaccuracies and failing to reflect the information I had supplied. Despite providing detailed corrections on more than one occasion, progress remained slow and disjointed. A task described as “straightforward”, a basic letter to a housing association ultimately took approximately seven months to complete. Most concerning, the final letter appears to have been sent to an incorrect email address. When I identified and raised this issue, provided the correct contact details, and requested confirmation that it would be resent, I received no response. Overall, I paid over £1,100 for a service that involved significant delays, substandard work, inconsistent handling, and avoidable errors that directly impacted the outcome. Based on my experience, I do not rate or recommend this firm. Its been a waste of, money, time and energy dealing with them. ------- RESPONSE 20/03/26: I emailed a full complaint to Chris Beaton 18th March 2026. I have not had a response or holding message. Kind regards Sophia Smith.
