This thrift store is probably one of the most organized thrift stores that you will come across. The items that they carry are in good quality, and they are reasonably priced. Staff is really friendly as well. However, the stickers that they place on their items like books and pictures, do not peel off easily. It leaves, residue and remnants of the sticker that require cleaning and scraping off, which can be damaging to the item in general.
Sunday is the funnest day of the week for me because I get to show up at my favorite thrift store at 9 AM to get the best new deals of the week! All the employees love working for Hope…who’s the best manager! Everybody’s amazing, but Dan is my favorite! He remembers all the regular names and makes everybody feel so welcome! I don’t know what you’re missing into you, it is set up so beautifully. Come and try it you’ll like it and then you’ll love it and then you’ll be a regular just like me!
This is the best thrift store in San Diego! Not only does 96c of every dollar go to a great cause, but the shop is full of great treasures. The prices are so fair and the store is clean. Best kept secret in SD. I love finding new treasures and necessities weekly!
I used to visit this thrift store weekly, but lately the prices have skyrocketed—it’s starting to feel more like a boutique! I always thought this was a place for affordable thrifting, but now all the paintings are priced over $100, and even used books are going for $12–$30. What’s going on? The paintings are by unknown artists and don’t seem to justify these prices. To the manager—or whoever sets these prices—please take a step back and remember that your clientele are people who are struggling and rely on affordable thrifting. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be returning.
