My favorite coffee spot in VA. All around amazing and this morning really proved it. I went in after a hit-and-run and couldn't stop crying at the counter and the barista didn't hesitate to give me a hug and talk with me. The coffee is also delicious. I love the chai powder and I was having an issue where it was clumpy at the bottom, I spoke to them about it last time and they must've had a group text or something because it's been perfect since. This is a place i'd miss if I moved away.

I really appreciate everything about this place. Great local business representing our community. Local produced coffee with a wide variety of flavor options. I’m a cream & sugar guy and my Wife is a super-extra-barely still coffee-latte chic and we both enjoy our selections. I’d love to get some better food offerings but I have grabbed a burrito when really hungry. I understand the food is brought it by outside vendors, so it’s tough to judge PHC on that “menu”. It does get busy, so plan on a short wait in line. I enjoy reading all the coffee varieties and browsing the swag while waiting. Bravo Zulu and keep it up. Y’all are great.

We stopped into grab drinks before heading over to The Untamed Chef for a cooking class. The space is so cool and we came in just 30 minutes before they closed but it was still a bustling space. My husband got the special coffee the Patriot and said it was very good. I love chia tea lattes but there are few places that get them right. I like them to be rich and this me was spot on. I liked it so much that I may call to see if they will share how they make theirs as my husband and I live in Texas. We enjoyed the drink and atmosphere and would certainly recommend this business!

Quite a drive to this location but worth it. Large space with plenty of interesting things to note: plenty of seating, huge collection of merchandise, even a tortilla (?) machine being set up?! Friendly staff patient enough to wait for my decision as to what to order. Didn’t get any of the pastries this time but enough reason to come back.

If you are looking for a legitimate local coffee shop this is it. They roast their own beans which you can also purchase to take home with you. The Baristas are friendly and take their time to give a personal touch with each order. The ambiance is comfortable with a first responder and military support vibe. Highly recommended.
