Not the best place for a 1st date or business meeting. This place is a little on the loud side making it hard to hear private conversations. This is a busy place so don't come here unless you plan to sit for a while. This is not fast service. It's a big place with a lot of tables. Give your servers and staff some grace. Food is flavorful. I got the spinach and crab dip. Served warm with toast. Friend got the Pasta Mardi Gras. Bit spicy for those who think pepper is hot. Classic Ceasar salad had just the right amount of dressing, crisp cold lettuce, with perfectly toasted garlic/herb croutons. Delicious. It's a bit pricey, but you are paying for big portions of seafood. Staff is welcoming and kind. You can tell they work well together. (The one we encountered anyway)
My husband and I ate here for lunch , we were greeted and seated immediately upon entry. Our waiter was Devonte whom was professional and attentive and suggested great choices I ordered the red snapper and lump crabmeat Husband got the fried platter Our food was delicious Well seasoned and plated professionally Chef’s Kiss Great choice for lunchtime
10/10 Experience at Pappadeaux’s Dallas! I was town for a conference and decided to stop by after seeing all the great reviews online—and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel completely comfortable, even as a solo diner. Everyone—from the host to my waiter—was warm, friendly, and attentive. The atmosphere was inviting with great music, clean surroundings, and an overall welcoming vibe. I started with a guava mocktail (can’t remember the exact name, but it was amazing!)—a refreshing blend that tasted like guava lemonade with a little spritz. Then came the seafood gumbo, and baby, it was good. As someone from the Caribbean, I usually like my food with a little extra spice, but this gumbo was flavorful, hearty, and packed with shrimp, sausage, and rice. They didn’t skimp on anything! My waiter paired it with buttery, garlicky toast that was chef’s kiss perfection. For my entrée, I went with the Cajun pasta, and wow—everything about it hit the mark. The shrimp were grilled to perfection, the sausage was seasoned just right, and the flavors were rich and comforting. They were generous with the seafood, which I truly appreciated. Every bite made me feel like I was sitting in New Orleans. From service to presentation to taste, Pappadeaux absolutely delivered. This was my first visit, but definitely not my last. Whether you’re dining solo or with a group, I highly recommend this spot for an unforgettable meal.
Thank you Lauren for an amazing dining experience today. You made sure our experience was above average at an already amazing restart. I appreciate your recommendations and I can't thank you enough for taking the time to provide some great recommendations for our next few visits to Dallas. See you again soon.
One of the best trips to a Pappadeaux’s from a food standpoint. Front desk hostesses were very sweet and kind, and was seated 15 minutes earlier than our reservation time. Food was absolutely outstanding of the park great! Service was solid for the most part, although at one point I really thought our waiter went home. Literally didn’t see him for 20+ minutes and I was in real need of a refill, almost to the point to where I went and hit it myself. Overall a really solid visit.
