I love that this location prioritizes conversation and slowing down through their bench seating and coffee tables (not ideal for laptops) and offer mugs and not just to-go cups. As for the matcha, it’s been just as consistent as their Vancouver and Richmond location. Paragon is reliable, I’ve never had a watery matcha and they always listen when you have a request (like extra sweet matcha or matcha with no ice if you’re travelling far and want to prevent dilution) Lastly, the workers really know their stuff! Tried their obsidian hojicha for the first time and it was exactly as described. Don’t be afraid to ask them questions. They also have a small card explaining the best way to make your matcha at home :)

I’ve been a loyalist since their lil’ location that was squirrelled away next to the Cambie bridge off ramp. Consistently pumping out THE finest matcha, the iced matcha coconut is my all time fave drink. They have innovative menu items rolling out all the time, always something new or exciting to try. Lovely staff and a great atmosphere. Fun fact: their online store is awesome too!

This matcha shop is an absolute gem! If you’re a fan of matcha or hojicha, this place will blow your mind. I popped in when they were featuring a black sesame latte (yes, it was as dreamy as it sounds), and it quickly became my go-to drink—smooth, rich, and just the right balance of flavors. Now, let’s talk about the hojicha mochi bubble waffle. OMG, it was perfection! The hojicha flavor was subtle yet distinct, and not too sweet, which I loved. It’s seriously one of the best bubble waffles I’ve ever had—crispy on the outside, chewy mochi on the inside, and full of flavor. The shop itself? Adorable! It’s got that cute, cozy vibe that makes you want to stay forever. The minimalist interior is super welcoming—whether you’re chilling with friends, enjoying some “me time,” or bringing your laptop to get some work done, it’s the perfect spot. And can we talk about the customer service? They’re so patient and friendly, always ready to walk you through their menu and make sure you get exactly what you’re craving. It’s become my must-visit whenever I’m in Vancouver, and trust me, you’ll want to keep coming back too!

"It's a perfect combination ! The crispy bacon and cheese bubble waffle offers a unique twist on a regular waffle. The combination of grilled bacon bits and melted cheese, along with the crispy texture, adds an extra depth of deliciousness. Pairing it with a classic hojicha oat drink enhances the experience even further. You've definitely made my day with this delightful treat!" Thank You 🥰

Amazing matcha & hojicha tea & latte & tea-infused baked goods, such as cookies & bubble waffles! Most of their teas are not sweet at all, but also have options to add pearls to have it as a bubble tea! The staff was very friendly, and they also got stamp cards to collect, which is always something to look forward to for returning customers. The only thing is that this small place has limited seating (4 tables total, with very few chairs), so it can get crowded and noisy quite easily, and not the best place to sit down for a long time.
