DUDE! GUY FROM CALI HERE! Let me tell you beautiful Scottie’s…. MINDBLOWN🤯 you guys are so lucky to have this fantastic Mexican restaurant here in Edinburgh. I had a conversation with my wife and we genuinely agreed it was greater than any taco we’ve had in California. If there’s any restaurant that you need to experience, it’s this one! Also I wanted to give a huge shout out to Daniel and Kathia whose customer service was BEYOND exceptional. We started a lovely chat with Daniel and he surprised us by coming back with a list of things to do in Edinburgh. I was shocked, it’s the best customer service I’ve had throughout the UK. And that includes Kathia who’s from Mexico herself, she was kind, welcoming, and we are so happy for her journey in Scotland! Thank you guys!

Paz Taqueria is a bustling little cozy eatery on Thistle in Edinburgh. Serving up innovative tacos and Mexican fare in a modern presentation, this place is wonderful. The space is a cozy spot and the energy is tangible. Lots of energy and conversation. The servers are amazing...friendly and helpful. And the food was so delicious. Even though the names on the tacos were familiar, Paz has made some very unique creations of everything I tried. So good. 5 x 🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮

We came here for a birthday as it has a good reputation. We were not disappointed. It's a friendly little place. We tried to book for 5 but that appeared to not be allowed. As it was four of us went as one couldn't make it. The tables are rather small but it was fine as the food arrives as it is made so the plates are swapped out. The food was excellent and tasty. We selected two dishes each and shared, noone had a bad word to say about the food. Beers are local or Spanish, no Mexican unfortunately but soft drinks from there are available. The service was excellent and the staff lovely. It was surprisingly quiet for a Thursday but that suits me. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

This was the best meal we’ve had across several trips to Edinburgh. Great cocktails (my son described the fuego margarita as the best thing he’s ever drunk), great sipping tequila and spectacular food. Add in lovely staff and it made for an excellent evening. The menu is seasonal but in this round we absolutely loved the roasted courgette tostada and the carnitas tacos. The latter seems to make the menu across the seasons because they’re so damned good.

This could be one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The flavour of every taco we had was impeccable, and the food was hot and fresh. I absolutely loved the potato’s, and the margaritas were unbelievable. I am a massive lover of tequila, and have had many bad margaritas before, but these were another level. The service was also top notch! This has made me sad that I don’t live in Edinburgh so I can’t visit whenever I want to… definitely on the list for my next visit!
