I have Ulcerative Colitis for the past twenty-eight years. Whoever does not know, it is a large intestine problem. Since I got this ailment medical science did not invent anything new except other medications. However, the steps in the treatment plan are still the same. At first, they prescribe Mesalamine (5-ASA), then steroids, if they don’t help, immunosuppressants. Then, if nothing helps, there is only surgery, where they remove all or part of the colon. I did not like this course of action. Specifically, after I had to take steroids for half a year 28 years ago when I was diagnosed with this illness. That medication almost killed me. Also, new medications have side effects that are much more severe. Now my colitis came back and I decided to look for other ways to stop the flare-up. I've chosen a different path and found Peking Acupuncture. I always heard about acupuncture but never experienced it myself. And I am more than glad I did. I don’t have enough words to describe how much these people help me. I will just say that in 6 visits they helped me more than doctors did in a year and a half without any side effects. I would recommend to everybody to try this, nothing short of miracle treatment.
I’ve had several sessions with Dr. Sparkman and I feel rejuvenated each time. He has great bedside manners and is patient and kind! I highly recommend him :) I also want to mention the lovely receptionist who is very caring and kind as well. 5 stars for Pekings accupuncture and massage! 🙂
Peking Acupuncture has truly been life changing for me. I started treatments a year ago, and the improvements in my health and overall well-being have been remarkable. My joint pain has been completely relieved, my PCOS symptoms have subsided, and my menstrual cycles are now regular. I’ve also been using acupuncture for weight loss and have experienced noticeable results both in terms of weight reduction and decreased inflammation. The Meridian massages with Miranda and Nathan are absolutely incredible! Everyone at Peking Acupuncture is kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about their patients. It is difficult to convey how life-changing Peking Acupuncture has been! I admit that I was skeptical going to my first accupuncture appointment, but after over a decade of dealing with debilitating back pain, and many thousands of dollars spent on physical therapy, chiropractic care and orthopedic doctor visits, my frustration and poor quality of life necessitated that I try something different. It was a prayer answered that I came to Peking Acupuncture. From the first visit I not only experienced pain relief, but was given a timeline to expect results (NOT the old "let's have you come back several times a week for several weeks and see how things go" routine) which was confidence inspiring and gave me hope. True to that conversation, I was pain-free after 4 visits and I utilized their massage therapy (Nathan is a miracle worker) to restore my mobility. I was so overwhelmed and inspired by my transformation, that I registered for a sprint triathlon and began training. For someone who was not even able to stand in the kitchen and cook (much less able to jog/run) without excruciating pain for the past 13 years, to comimit to compete in a sprint triathalon three months after I began treatment, is mind blowing to me and something I never would have dreamed possible. I did compete in the triathlon and so much more. I am now golfing, weight lifting and even cooking dinner pain-free thanks to Peking Acupuncture. I can't express my appreciation for how they have restored my quality of life. My only wish is that I could have found them sooner!

And from my experience , I honestly say that this is a Great place to get help on weight loss, From the first day I came, I felt that they do care about their customers needs. I was able to feel the results within a day, don’t have any cravings for junk food. Lost 4 pounds in two weeks and feel more energetic .
