The receptionist Shawna at people ready is very helpful, and reliable, she always sets you up to work ,she is responsible and respectful I really hope they keep her forever....
I just received a phone call from this staffing firm. The person on the phone specifically asked for my manager, who is currently out, which I informed him of right away. Instead of explaining what he was calling about or allowing me the opportunity to help, he demanded that I transfer him directly to her voicemail. I explained that she would not be able to get back to him immediately as she is out on leave, and I asked again if there was anything I could assist him with. He then mentioned that he had previously discussed staffing needs for our events with my manager and asked who is currently handling her responsibilities, or if he could update his system to email me information instead. I told him that I didn’t even know who he was or where he was calling from. Only then did he identify himself as Krate & Carol with People Ready Staffing. I continued by letting him know that either myself, my colleague, or the owner would be the appropriate contacts for those matters. Because of his attitude, shortness, and overall unprofessionalism, I told him that I could transfer him to my manager’s voicemail since the owner also listens to them. I placed him on hold for no more than 30 seconds and he hung up. 1) If you want business from a client, please don’t be rude to any of our staff. We treat everyone equally here. 2) Present yourself professionally whether over the phone or in person before diving into what you’re reaching out for. 3) We are not interested in working with firms that show no integrity in their field or respect for the prospects they’re trying to pursue. I hope the owner addresses this with their entire staff.
Unfair work practices, unprofessional, doesn’t respond to phone calls/ emails in a timely manner, and on-going retaliation. They need to be retrained on proper etiquette and learn from successful offices that don’t have these issues. Their new app is problematic and unreliable.
I would like to say that Shonda Brown has been a life saver for me and has helped me with bookings and being equipped and ready to work! I would also like to mention Creighton has been such a help with making sure I was paid on time and has been nothing but gracious in helping me to the best of his abilities! Thank you peopleready!!
