I had a rocking chair given to me by my parents when my son was born 44 years ago. The rocking chair has been in my family for 104 years. The wooden support in the front and back was broken so no one was able to sit in it. I contacted Scott to inquire if it was something he could repair. He picked up the rocker, repaired it perfectly and returned it within a week. I am so delighted with his work, and am thankful that the chair can be used once again. I highly recommend Period Restoration. Scott is a perfectionist who cares about his craft, and his customers.

Very IMPRESSIVE!! I had a very old cabinet I wanted redone, but it had cracks and missing details due to its age. I asked Scott just to do his best. WOW! Was I surprised! He was able to fix the cracks and duplicate missing detailed areas and refinish the surface beautifully! I recommend him highly for any piece you have!

Incredible restoration! Spilled nail polish remover and was convinced I would have to replace my breakfast set. Then I called Scott at Period Restoration. He is a restoration magician!! My table was finished in two weeks and…. just look at the pictures how beautiful!! Service, workmanship, and staff were amazing.

Scott and Herman came to my home in Alexandria LA and picked up a very large and heavy rosewood table and chairs as well as a coffee table. Repairs and restoration were gorgeous! I’d recommend them highly and they DO travel for those of you not in the immediate Metairie area.

My wife and I recently renovated our home. During the renovation our high-boy dresser sustained water damage in a storage unit. We called Scott for a quote. Not only was his quote the best price, but he was perfectly transparent with his timeline and all the steps required to restore the dresser. When he returned the dresser my wife and I were stunned! The dresser looks brand new! There is no sign of delamination, warping, discoloration, or corrosion from the hardware. Scott's craftsmanship and professionalism is second to none.
