Avoid buying a puppy from Petland, which is fueled by pure animal cruelty. Petland claims to source their dogs from reputable, caring dog breeders, but that's far from the truth. They source their puppies from puppy mills, large scale breeding operations that keep their dogs in unsanitary, overcrowded conditions with lack of access to veterinary care, food, and even clean water. These operations focus more on how many puppies they can breed, rather than the welfare of the animals. The puppies often end up ill, living short lives, and the mother dogs are discarded when they can no longer breed. Petland sources puppies from these places. A quick web search "Petland And Puppy Mills", and you'll find articles upon articles from animal rights investigators that discovered and described Petland's affiliation with puppy mills. Petland and other puppy stores fund these animal-abusing places, and if everyone chose not to buy a puppy from puppy stores, they'd shut down, and so would the puppy mills behind them. Buying a puppy from Petland is not "rescuing" the puppy, it is rather supporting a cruel operation. Choosing to adopt a rescue pet is crucial, as animal shelters are packed with lovely pets of all breeds, ages and sizes. Even if your local shelter does not have the pet you seek, just look up "Pet adoption websites" to find reputable websites with a networks of animal rescues on them. These websites can you help you find your perfect pet. I know Petland is probably going to reply to this review, saying I'm lying, but the facts speak for themselves. All you have to do is research, and you'll find the dark truth they are hiding.

Angie helped me this past Thursday when my boyfriend and I came in. She was absolutely amazing! She was super informative about all the puppies and was VERY patient with me! She made my shopping experience very comfortable. I’ll definitely be back!

1st time going to the store and everyone was being help. We went with the intention of adopting a cat but they didn't have any. They do have LOTS of little dogs, fish and birds. We did walk out with 2 birds and everything to keep the birds alive. I must say, they do have a large selection on birds toys. The staff was very friendly and explained everything in details.

Apparently should’ve taken the filter out of the box to inspect it. Not sure they sell many products from the shelf since it was covered in dust and had an expired manufacturer’s coupon from 2015. At least it was 40% off but I was hoping to replace my current filter. The main plastic piece of this filter is unusable as the giant crack is at water level. Good thing I don’t plan to shop there again.

this place is amazing 👏🏾 they give you alone time with the animals so you can see which one is a good fit for your family! My granddaughter and I enjoyed getting up close and personal with the puppies. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful when I had breed specific questions. Adoption is a bit on the expensive side for my budget however I definitely recommend them for your new fur baby if you can afford 3500 and up it comes with a lot of services just too steep for me personally!
