Despite having a history of being one of the most reputable and best dance schools in Philadelphia in the past, they are the absolute WORST now! They gave me wrong information twice over the phone and began ignoring all of my emails for reasons that are unknown to me. I was first told to stop by in person any time, walked in one morning and then was told by owner Joan Myers that I can only speak to Tiffany about registering my daughter for Hip Hop/Ballet classes during evening hours. Next, I came back a different day and met Tiffany. I thought the meeting went well. My daughter won a scholarship from an outside organization and Tiffany provided me with an email and accepted all of the scholarship paperwork. I was told to come back that Saturday to simply get my daughter measured for Ballet. When my daughter arrived with her grandmother they were turned away and sent home. I was told that she was “unprepared” for her first class. However, Tiffany never said to dress her up for ballet and she wasn’t even enrolled in classes yet thanks to Tiffany not completing PhilaDanco’s portion of the scholarship paperwork and sending over an invoice. I have went as far as to email higher ups and no one ever responds. PhilaDanco is Philadelphia’s most ghetto trash school now, very unprofessional unorganized, and I wouldn’t recommend! Glad I found a better school for my 8 year old!

Enjoyed my adult ballet and jazz classes! The standard is still high, as it should be 👏🏾🎬 The teachers engaging and pay attention to detail.

I’ve been a fan and a friend to PhilaDanco years. And kudos to Mrs. Joan Myers-Brown, Director and Artistic Advisor teaching and training young adults to dance their way to their dreams.

1st time, not last time. Truly amazing performance tonight in Center City at the Perleman theater. Had the opportunity to see Alvin Ailey and Philadanco within two months of each other. So proud of the home team!! Definitely going again asap!!

I saw the Sunday afternoon performance at the Perlman theater and it was fabulous. Loved the choreography, music and costumes. And the dancing was superb. We are so lucky to have this gem based in our city. I urge you to go whenever you can. Just beautiful!
