We found Adam and Alex because they DJed our friends' wedding and we had so much fun on the dance floor. We talked to a few other vendors but liked Adam's vibe so much that we knew it was right. They met with us several times to really understand what we were looking for and encourage us to have a clear vision. Their planning portal makes things very easy to customize and create exactly the experience you want. They were great to work with and were amazing on the day of. We had the best time with Alex as our DJ!

We had an amazing time working with Adam from Philly Custom DJ for our wedding at Porta in Asbury Park. He was organized, attentive, and proactive throughout all the wedding prep and truly made the wedding happen. The DJ's website was super helpful with tons of sample playlists, integration with spotify, and most importantly detailed forms for planning out every possible part wedding. This was such a huge help for my husband and I as we didn't have a lot of direction with what we wanted to do and the examples/suggestions guided us in planning the whole night. Through our handful of zoom meetings leading up to the wedding Adam walked us though everything very thoroughly. The night of the wedding Adam was amazing, he worked seamlessly with the venue and went over all the details with our wedding party and toast-givers so we didn't have to. He filmed our entire ceremony took tons of short videos of the dance floor throughout the night. We didn't have a videographer for the evening so we were so so happy that Adam got so many clips for us. He really went above and beyond at every step to make our wedding special and I would highly recommend Philly Custom DJ to anyone getting married in the area.

We chose Adam through a connection early in our wedding planning journey, and he quickly became one of our favorite vendors to work with. From the very beginning, he was open, curious, and genuinely excited to help us create a wedding that reflected both Ahmed’s Iraqi roots and my own. He took the time to learn about Iraqi music and traditions, and truly embraced our vision of blending cultures on the dance floor. What made the experience even better were the multiple planning meetings leading up to the big day. Adam was always organized, responsive, and fun to talk to—his personality brought so much joy to the process. We felt heard, understood, and supported every step of the way. While we were sad he couldn’t be there on the actual day, Alex did a great job stepping in. Thanks to Adam’s preparation and care, the energy, transitions, and vibe of the night felt seamless and unforgettable. We’re so grateful for Adam and everything he brought to celebrating our wedding!

Adam, Alex at the Photo Booth, the whole Philly Custom DJ operation, are the best. If you’re looking for a fun, creative, professional, and helpful DJ who will keep a dance floor full and ease the stress of planning, I recommend Adam. We can’t say enough good things. From the first meeting to after the last song on our wedding night, Adam made all the difference. We were planning the wedding from across the country and until meeting Adam, we were just trying to check off boxes and get stuff done rather than really think about what would make it special. Adam helped with music suggestions, the timeline, and general planning advice. He also encouraged us to add personal touches. Adam made us more excited about the wedding, and inspired us (we went from having no first dance to choreographing a line dance to a Johnny Cash/June Carter song!). He is attentive, intuitive, and deflates so much of the stress involved in the planning just through his sense of humor and understanding of how to do things. We left each meeting confident, like we had uncovered some secret to wedding planning. The wedding was a blast. Everyone danced and our families loved the photo booth run by Alex. At the end, people said good things about the food, the space, the dress…but nothing or no one got more accolades than Adam, the music and the photo booth. Thank you, Adam and Alex for such a great time!

We found Philly Custom DJ through our venue's recommended vendor list and we are so glad we did! Adam was highly communicative and helpful in creating and adjusting our timeline and helping our crazy vision come true! His staff running the photo booth were so friendly and the music choices throughout the night kept our guests on the dance floor for hours. He helped our officiant be his most confident and had our Maid of Honor and Best Man ready to go for their speeches. We fully recommend Adam for weddings and any events, he and his staff are so much fun!
