The place is decorated out with Christmas and we were seated right away. I wanted to try their bun Bo hue but they were already sold out so quickly. Their Pho was alright just a little salty as the broth must have been simmer too long. The spring rolls was good but needed more shrimp. Overall food was alright, wished it was a little more flavorful.
First time dining here and it was absolutely amazing. Every dish was delicious. Service was timing and great hospitality. Kelly was a wonderful server. She made sure we knew what we were ordering and explained the different portions and help us decide on our orders. Definitely will be returning
FAMILY OWNED RESTAURANT I had an amazing experience at this place! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. They took the time to understand exactly what I needed and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and relaxing, which made the whole visit even better. I was especially impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of the team they really know their stuff! I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to all my friends and family ALSO! our waitress Jennie! aka (Jennie from the block) or (Blackpink) was top tier with the service and was very comfortable like i was at home! 10/10
The worst pho place ever. The fact that you can see through the broth is crazy! We got there at 5:35pm, had to wait a little bit for our table which was fine, but we didn’t get our appetizers until 40 mins later. Our waiter said that their electronic system was down, so their kitchen was having trouble processing orders but they still had to make online orders. Which is fine, but we had to wait 40 minutes for spring rolls and banh mi to arrive. Our pho came out an hour later and was not the best. When we went to check out, they rang us up for the wrong table and when we pointed it out, they tried to give us pushback when I brought the receipt with me. They took the receipt, put in our correct order, and I paid full price to wait 1 hour for my food since their system was down. no discount or comped dishes at all. when I paid, the system didn’t go through either, so we had to wait for someone to come to fix that so my payment could go through. The bun bo hue broth was sweet and had no complexity. The banh mi was salty even with the added egg. The spring rolls were okay. The pho was not good. I would NEVER recommend this place to anybody.
Updated review. I came back to order food this time. I ordered the limeade which was delicious and refreshing. I ordered the shrimp fresh spring rolls. They tasted freshly rolled; not premade and just sitting for hours. Then I ordered the Pork Vermicelli for my entree. It was good. Kelly the server recommended that I mix the fish oil with sriracha and chili paste because I told her I like spicy. Her recommendation added a nice touch. You can tell if a Pho restaurant is legitimate if their broth is delicious and flavorful on its own. This was the case with Big Bowl. I ordered the beef broth on its own and it was soulfully tasty. It warmed every bone in my body and gave my heart a big hug. Their prices are very reasonable for all items including their boba drinks. I look forward to my next visit at Big Bowl.
