I’ve never used PhotoBiz beyond the free trial, yet they’ve continued charging me $29 a month even after I cancelled twice — once in February 2024 and again in January 2025. Both times I had to call since online cancellation wasn’t an option, and both times I was told my account was cancelled. Despite that, they kept billing me — even on a card that expired in November 2024, which raises serious concerns about how they store and process payment information. When I reached out again on 10/8/25, they responded on 10/17/25 that they had processed my cancellation and said I would receive a confirmation email that my membership was cancelled. It’s now 10/20/25, and I still haven’t received that confirmation email. This is the THIRD time I've been told I would receive something that I have not. They also haven’t confirmed that my billing information has been removed from their system, nor have they mentioned anything about processing my refund. Maybe if this can escalate beyond those I’ve already spoken to and land in the hands of someone who will actually do something — and if they can provide the three simple things I’ve repeatedly asked for (confirmation of cancellation, removal of my banking info, and a refund) — I’ll revise my review. Until then, my experience and opinion of this company remain exactly as written.
As a busy photographer, I have never had the time to keep up with my website. I have tried expensive freelance designers, but have never been happy with the results.I began with PhotoBiz because I really liked there website templates. There website designers created the best website I have ever had, I finally loved my website! As the year went I was receiving more leads and doing pretty good, but I wanted to expand my area and move up in my SEO ranking. I just completed a one hour Design review of my Photobiz website with Jeremy. It was the best investment that I could have made in my website! Jeremy was extremely helpful in suggesting improvements to my site, particularly my homepage - and implementing them as he suggested them! The best part of the experience was that Jeremy took the time to understand why I was reaching out for a Design Review. He first sent out an email asking me what I would like to address during our call and then during the call listened to my concerns. Although I was getting traffic to my website, I felt that I should be be getting more conversions to quote requests. I wanted a sanity check from a Photobiz Design consultant to review my site. Jeremy suggested numerous minor improvements. When put together, all those improvements really gave my website a better look and feel. Most importantly, after the Design Session, I felt that with the help of Jeremy, I had done my my best to optimize the website. A website is as critical to any business as the people who work within your business, answering the phone, responding to emails, etc etc... For me, thats all me, I'm a soloprenauer. I own a small business, a photography business. I don't have countless hours to update my site, and comb through code... That's why I have Photobiz as my website platform. They have beautiful templates (like many of their competitors, I'm sure), but their templates, admin portal, and tool are easy to learn, easy to use, and easy to roll out. And when I find something that isn't easy (realistically, it's because I'm too busy to spend the time to look it up), I use the AI chat, which is all I need most of the time. When the AI can'r handle it, I just tell it that I want to talk to someone... and within minutes, I am chatting with someone who can help me figure out what it is that I am trying to do. Hannah has helped me more times than I can count. Last week, I had the pleasure of working with John. I explained to John what I was working on, a fundraiser for an animal rescue, and I needed to embed a third part website into it, as well as being able to accept donations, and have biographies of the dogs without cluttering up the landing page. John built solutions for me. And pointed me to them, and when I said it was perfect, he implemented it for me, saving me precious time. When asked about the donation form, he again built it, and let me know how to move it when ready. We did all this via messages, sometimes days apart, not on his end, but mine, because I was out in the real world working on my business. John simply had my back to help my fundraising effort. Ultimately, Photobiz doesn't feel like a vendor. They feel like a partner, or simply my web department in the office right across the hall. Always friendly, always helpful. They feel like friends.
