What an amazing place. Picado is run by a wonderful couple, and their hospitality is genuinely warm and welcoming. The pizzas are outstanding — incredible flavours, and a perfectly made base that really sets them apart. Highly recommended.

Found this gem while exploring Gastown! We tried the Black Pesto Beef pizza and it was incredible,such a unique flavor profile. The wings were also a great addition. Portion sizes were just right and the service was very friendly. It was the perfect quick stop during our visit. Highly recommend if you're in the area and want something better than your average pizza chain!

Picado at 605 W Pender has some positives, especially the welcoming and friendly staff, which we appreciated. However, the overall experience was average. The ventilation was very poor, and when we left the restaurant, our clothes smelled strongly of food, which was quite unpleasant. The taste of the food was mediocre and didn’t really stand out. Also, based on the experience, the reviews online felt a bit misleading. With improvements in ventilation and food quality, this place could be much better.

Tried the Alfredo Chicken and Black Pesto Beef pizzas — both were absolutely delicious! The flavor, aroma, and texture were all on point. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. Parking was a bit tricky, but honestly, once you taste the pizza, it doesn’t even matter. Great staff, fair prices, and overall a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be coming back ,highly recommend this place to anyone who loves amazing pizza!

Really enjoyed the köfte sandwich – the meatballs were flavorful and the bread was fresh. The ayran was also nice and refreshing. The place is quite small and can get a little hot, but overall it’s a tasty spot with fair prices.
