Lovely little bar. Visited for a birthday treat after being recommended from a few friends and was not disappointed. The lady serving us was lovely and approachable and knew everything about the cheese and meat platter we asked for. There was an excellent selection of wine to choose from and even the house red we chose to go with the platter was really enjoyable. We also asked for the orange wine which neither of us had ever tried before but really enjoyed and would get again.

We had such a lovely experience here! The staff were extremely welcoming and kind, the wine selection was nice and we were able to taste before selecting, the cheese platter and chutneys were wonderful, and the atmosphere overall was perfect for chatting and enjoying. Will come back whenever in the area!

Everything about pickles is lovely!! The staff are so welcoming and kind, the prices are reasonable and the charcuterie board delicious! The staff kept topping us up with extra bread and oatcakes too. Will definitely be back!

One of my favourite places in Edinburgh. Atmospheric and cosy. Staff is so welcoming! Wine is delicious and I recommend spicy pickles! 😋🥒

Fantastic! We each enjoyed a DELICIOUS Scottish cheese platter, with a lovely selection of Scottish hard and soft cheeses, all served with crusty bread, oatcakes & pickles. Really scrumptious!! Polished off with a fab Australian Shiraz. Great atmosphere, exceptional service, a LOVELY meeting and eating place. This is our new favourite venue! Thanks so much Pickles team - we love you!! 💚
