Pierre Tax and Wealth Management

Unprofessional and lacks basic customer service skills. I am handling mother’s estate - I need to file both personal and trust returns. In addition to other items involving a rental property and beneficiaries. I was added to an email thread most likely in error - Eric stated “ I'm a little bothered by someone looking for a "quote" for a trust return. It feels like bottom of the barrel. I normally don't do trust returns myself” He forwarded my information to another accounting firm and asked them to schedule time with me. I was not made aware of this. I noticed the new firm’s email address in the email thread. If he didn’t want my business a simple email stating “I am not doing that kind of work right now” would have sufficed. Updated: Based on his passive aggressive apology I will be posting the correspondence that I had with his office. I don’t appreciate blatant lies. Further, regardless if the firm he referred me to specializes in estate taxes or not - isn’t it common practice to advise the client that you will be handing off their business?

So, I recently found myself in need of both an amended return for a previous year and the current years returns so, I called up a friend and asked if he knew a solid “tax guy.” My friends response was “I know a GREAT CPA who can take care of anything you need done, he’ll do it right the first time and won’t break the bank doing it.” His recommendation was Eric Pierre. A text lead to a phone call and a couple weeks later, my previous years returns were amended, my liability reduced to nothing and we managed to capture a hefty return for the current year. I’m not expert in tax law which is 100% why I hired one and I’m glad I did. I would wholeheartedly recommend Eric and his firm for anything financial you might need.
