My go to vet in Long Beach. I take my three fur babies here - jasper, Loki and mushy and they all love dr.Kay. They are very nice and detailed. They are so cute they draw a photo on the bag if you doggie/kitty needs to be sent home with medicine!
Three Fridays ago, I took my French Bulldog (30 lbs) to this clinic and saw Dr. 1. She didn’t perform a proper eye exam or an ulcer test—she simply prescribed drops without confirming what was actually wrong. The following Friday, I returned and saw Dr. 2, who immediately asked why no ulcer test had been done the week before. I said dr1 maybe is incompetent ! I had no answer because it was never offered. Dr. 2 performed the test, ran additional checks, and confirmed what should’ve been caught earlier. Both Dr. 1 and Dr. 2 also seemed visibly afraid to handle my dog, which was concerning since he’s friendly and only 30 pounds. Today, I saw Dr. 3, and that visit was the worst of all. When I explained that I came back because I wanted my dog to get proper care despite the earlier mistakes, Dr. 3 told me to leave and said he didn’t care about me or my dog. Completely unprofessional behavior. To make things worse, two of the three doctors I interacted with spoke very limited English, which made communication extremely difficult and left me questioning their understanding and attention to detail. Between the language barrier, the lack of professionalism, and the unwillingness to properly handle my pet, I honestly don’t know how this clinic operates. I would strongly advise finding another vet. I wouldn’t bring my dog back here under any circumstance.
I had moved to the area in 2019 and got a puppy. I took him here for his shots and since then, this has been our go-to for our dog, Sirius' medical needs. Their services have always been reasonably priced. I also rescued a small kitten 2 months ago and took her here to get dewormed and her first vaccination. Sadly, she passed away suddenly a little over a week ago and Pine Animal Hospital was able to help me arrange my sweet angel's cremation. Dr. Steve called me the day after my Bellatrix had passed and gave me some comforting words. He helped me gain closure over what happened. We got Bella back in a beautiful condition. She will always be in her favorite spot (which is my reading corner). Thank you, Pine Animal Hospital. You guys are amazing!
I’ve been bringing my dogs here for a while, and I couldn’t be happier with the care they receive. The entire staff is amazing; friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. The front desk team is welcoming and makes everything easy, and the veterinarians and vet assistants truly go above and beyond. I’m especially grateful for how thorough they are with my two dogs, Pinto and Chips, making sure nothing is left to chance. While I never want my pets to need medical attention, I always leave confident that they’re in great hands and getting the best care possible! P.S. Whoever the artists is who draws these bags with the dogs faces on em, please keep it up! Can’t tell you how happy my family is when they can see my dogs goofy faces drawn on her medicine bag.
Staff is always courteous during the appointment setting process. Milo is not always friendly with everyone however the staff is always understanding and patient with him. Doctors and Techs are knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Fabiola took the time to explain the treatment plan, listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. I felt that she took my concerns into account when selection the best course of action for Milo. Our first time seeing Dr. Fabiola and she was great! Our Vet tech today is always patient with Milo. He feels comfortable with her which makes me feel good because he doesn't let many people handle him. Front desk staff are quick to respond to scheduling inquiries. Thank you PAH! Entire experience with staff and during visits are always positive. They also add little personalized details which add a nice touch to the entire experience.
