I am writing this review not out of anger, but out of responsibility because what happened to me had longterm consequences, and I don’t want anyone else to experience the same harm. I work as a laser technician in the area and people‘s confidence is what drives my passion buildings them up So not only did this, not align with my values, but it also really affected me as the person It has taken me over a year to feel emotionally capable of writing this. For an entire year, my confidence was deeply impacted by what was done to my hair. I booked an appointment at Pink Lime Hair Salon requesting top-of-head highlights only to brighten my hair. I clearly explained this and provided reference photos of myself from the past, when my sister…a trained professional, used to do my hair before she moved away. What was performed was not what I consented to. Instead of targeted highlights, a full head of foils was applied using the same level of developer throughout, including sections of hair that were already lightened. The bleach was applied heavily and without the precision techniques typically used to protect hair integrity. The result was severe damage: • Previously lightened hair was over- processed, turning grey and breaking off • Natural hair was left yellow, orange, and uneven, indicating improper lift timing • My hair texture became brittle, compromised, and visibly damaged A professional assessment later confirmed this outcome is consistent with improper developer use, timing, and over-processing of already lightened hair. Because of the damage, no professional would touch my hair for a long time. Corrective work was not an option it had to grow out. Today, my hair is down to my lower back, but it is half brown and half yellow, a constant reminder of this experience. This affected how I felt I was viewed at work and in professional settings, which had a real impact on my confidence. What made this experience even more difficult was the response afterward. The owner an older gentleman told me that the situation cost his business more money than it cost me, despite my hair being severely damaged. I was told my hair was not broken, and that the pieces breaking off were “baby hairs,” even though two stylists were working on my hair by the end of the appointment. Not to add the original woman doing my hair left me five hours in because her next client was there so I got handed off I brought my partner with me for a hydration treatment because I did not feel respected or heard as a woman. At the end of the appointment, I was given three packs of a professional Kerastase mask yet the product itself clearly states it is intended for breaking or broken hair, which directly contradicted what I was being told. The photos attached show the damage clearly. The first photo is immediately after the other photo is where I’m at right now.

My best friend and I came in together and had the best time. Ash took such great care of us, super kind, attentive, and genuinely skilled. We also got the hair spa done, and honestly… best one we’ve ever had. So relaxing, done with so much care, and our hair felt incredible after. The hospitality was amazing from start to finish, and the whole experience just felt easy and fun. We left feeling so refreshed and already know we’ll be back. Huge thanks to Ash for taking such good care of us and our hair!!

I had such a lovely experience with Ash today! He did an absolutely amazing job with my hair wash and blow-dry — honestly one of the best I’ve had. He was so gentle, detail-oriented, and really took his time to make sure everything looked perfect. My hair felt so fresh, bouncy, and beautiful after.
