Pipers Tea and Coffee is a delightful coffee shop in St. Louis. I came specifically to try their 12 Days of Hot Chocolates and the selections blew me away. I ordered the Mermaid Lagoon hot chocolate and it was not only delicious but beautifully presented. The attention to detail and whimsy floored me. I cannot wait to return later this year and see what new hot chocolates they come up with.

I enjoyed the coffee more than the matcha here, I am more of a matcha person though. I like that they are open until later which is great for studying. The staff is really nice and friendly and the drinks are made quickly. It does get a bit busy and seats fill up but it's a big space. I believe they have people play music in there sometimes too.

Great drinks, and good sweets (that are always out no matter what day or time you are there). Very much a modern coffee shop experience: don’t expect to be greeted or anyone to smile at you. Associates at the register cannot wait to get done taking your order (and don’t expect them to speak up even a little bit if it is loud and busy in there) so they can come back to chatting amongst themselves and that’s why your order will definitely take longer than you’d expect.

Wow, what a great coffee shop and café experience! From the moment I walked in, the manager was so welcoming and kind, and the young lady who waited on us was just as wonderful—she even told me she does audio sounds on the side, which was really cool. We sampled all of their fall specials, and every single one was amazing. I own a café in Lexington, Kentucky (Grounded All Day Café), so I really appreciate when a place has staff who are this attentive, talkative, and genuinely engaging with customers. She even suggested I check out MJ Lenderman on Spotify, and that was an absolutely excellent choice—spot on recommendation! If I had three thumbs, I’d give this place three thumbs up—but since Google only lets me, it’s a solid five stars all the way. Fantastic job!

Nice coffee shop. Good offerings. We got an espresso drink, a pound over, and a matcha latte. Very nice. Service was friendly. Vibe was very relaxed.
