We are so happy we found Pittsburgh Music House, and we absolutely love it for our toddler! Even as early as 2 or 3 years old, Brooke teaches actual music theory, dynamics, rhythm, tempo and uses appropriate terminology. The classes are orderly and the children learn and grow in a love for music. They offer a no commitment free trial, and I'm sure you'll commit like we did. It's a lovely place, a true gem in the North Hills, and very convenient location.

Miss Brooke and her team are incredible in every way. They are professional and courteous. I have watched them adapt their method of teaching to reach each individual child. Their patience and intentional guidance of each child is admirable and hard to find. My son is excelling with Miss Brooke. He was immediately comfortable with her and she teaches him in a way that he desires to learn more. They have worked to facilitate friendships amongst the private lesson students. The addition of Jorbi the therapy dog shows how much they strive to make each child grow. This music house is truly a gift. It is clear that they care deeply for their students beyond just their musical skills.

My friends and I had an absolute blast! Brooke was so accommodating to our needs. There were multiple instruments to choose from, a wide range of genre for our music selection, and her bubbly personality made the experience all the more fun. We were laughing the entire session!! Please keep this place in mind for any whimsical or impromptu friendly gathering, you will not be disappointed!!

My granddaughter has been taking private piano lessons at the Pittsburgh Music House for the last 6 months. She was not quite 5 years old when she started, yet her teacher Brooke brought out the best of her in every lesson. Brooke does an outstanding job working with young children. When she designs each lesson they are tailored to my granddaughter’s ability and she considers my granddaughter’s moods to make sure each lesson is productive. Brooke is always positive and encouraging. Her lessons are full of creative games and activities that make learning music extra fun. My granddaughter now can play simple songs with both hands and is beginning to read music. It’s amazing to me, and my granddaughter feels so accomplished. I can’t say enough about Brooke and I highly recommend the Pittsburgh Music House for young children.
