You can't lose with any of the menu selections here. Sandwiches, pizza, the pasta- everything is delicious. One thing I love is the sausage and peppers. It's not on the menu but if you ask nice they might make it for you There are always sports going on the many TV's and the atmosphere is usually quite lively. All the bartenders are great but you especially want to go on nights Yolanda (Yo) is working. They make great cocktails and Wednesday is Wine Wednesday with half off bottles. You can never go wrong with the Chianti. The place is only about two blocks from the Bean down Madison St. Stop here for one and then go see the Bean or vice versa. Either way it's a great afternoon especially in spring and summer. The only complaint I have about the place is on a quiet night the soundtrack in the bar makes you feel like you're an extra in the movie Goodfellas...
A flavor of it's own. The first true Chicago deep dish pizza I have had. The crust was sturdy and yeasty with the toppings flavorful and fresh while not being too acidic. The toasted ravioli as well as cheesy garlic bread were just right as well!
My family and I were in town for my daughter’s Navy graduation and we were searching for somewhere to celebrate as a family. We ended up here but little did we know what a great experience we would have. We were blessed to have been served by The Cache “Uncle Chach!” From the compliments, to the laughs the whole dinner was beyond what one could ever pay for. I went in with an appetite and left with my heart full and with a new family member. We will forever cherish this moment thanks to Uncle Chach! We will return just to see and have the honor to be serviced by Uncle Chach!!!! Thank you and can’t wait to return!
The old-school vibe of this Italian joint was fantastic, but unfortunately, the food and service were a letdown. We split a deep-dish cheese pizza and had a couple of drinks, enjoying the lively crowd. With so many phenomenal Italian places in Chicago, the mediocre execution here means we probably won't be back.
I came in for a late night dinner, and I was really impressed by the warm atmosphere and friendly staff. As I was by myself, I sat at the bar and got direct bar service by a friendly lady, which made the experience more personal. I ordered the Woo Woo cocktail which was very tasty, along with a small Meat lover deep dish pizza. This was my first ever Chicago deep dish, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, for me personally I couldn’t finish it due to its size, but that just made it good value! All in all, I had a fantastic experience!
