Staff is aggressive. Got yelled at for super setting instead of just being told it’s not allowed. Kept yelling at me as I went to move my stuff off the second machine. Bad vibe. Just drove across the country and hit half a dozen planet fitnesses. Wasn’t treated like this anywhere else.

You have to trade your belongings to use a machine, the WiFi constantly cuts out, the hours are bad, and they turn their fans off so it gets super hot and humid indoors.

The atmosphere here is so welcoming and non-intimidating, making it a perfect place for anyone looking to get fit. The equipment is always clean and well-maintained, and I love the variety of classes offered! Plus, the monthly membership price is a steal for all the amenities you get.

Been to many planet fitness locations, including ones in cities, by far this is the poorest condition I’ve visited. Equipment is aged and shows signs of significant wear. Old equipment isn’t an issue if everything is in working condition and maintained well, which isn’t the case here. For example, the treadmill belts are worn so heavily that there may even be a slip hazard if there’s sweat on them. There seems to be dust buildup on every wall, which I find rarely happens at PF, every other location I’ve been to has been near spotless. Overall I’d say this would be an ok gym for the price in SF, but it’s a shame it’s far below the bar every other location is able to maintain. Edit after response from business: - I’ve already cancelled membership, I’m not interested in a gym where the most basic upkeep requires alerting staff response.

Is this location even open? It looked closed a few weeks ago??
